We have been here several times. Every time it has been great food and great service. We use this a lot as our lunch stop while boating. Easy to dock. We have taken several out of town guest here and all they can say is "OMG "the menu is huge !!!! That it is, plan to change your mind several times. They also have a sky top bar where you can eat and or drink , its called Ugly's but uses the same menu . They have entertainment that still makes it possible for table talk.. Don't forget to take a picture in the big yellow chair !!!!

We ended up eating here three times during the week. There are so many choices on the menu and everything we had was good! Service was fast. It was fun to sit outside and listen to the music and watch the boats on the water.

This is the second time I've been to Nervous Nellies with friends/family. Both times the seafood was excellent! Shrimp, fish, clams, oysters, etc all delicious!
Our first trip was last summer. Our server was nice, but she had six tables plus ours and we barely saw her. We just felt like we didn't have good service: drinks we not refilled, plates not picked up, etc.
Since the food was so good and the atmosphere is fun, we decided to go back this August. Again, the food was great, however our server was sooo rude. She took our order (we had 8 in our group) for drinks and after 15 minutes dropped off a water pitcher with cups and told us we could pour our own water. She told us that she didn't have time to take our order and would be back. The water in the pitcher was not enough for our group, so my husband went to the bar to get it refilled. When he went to the bar, the bartender said to him, "and what do you want?"
After waiting 20 minutes our server came back and took our order (we still had not received our drinks, but could see them waiting at the bar). When our appetizers came out we still did not have plates or utensils. We had to stop another server to get them for us (as well as our drinks which were still sitting at the bar). Our appetizer plates were never cleared and when our dinner came out, one member of our group had to wait 15 minutes for them to find his food.
Looking around, every server seemed aggravated and just worn out. I'm not sure if they are understaffed, overworked or what; but a smiling, friendly server would have been nice. This restaurant goes down as my "worst and rudest service ever" experience.

The food is really good, the band was good, the atmosphere is nice. We ate there twice during a week with the exact same results. Sadly both times our service was horrible. The first time we went our server was way overworked with 7 large tables (4 or more people) and seemed exhausted and in a hurry. The second time our waitress was plain rude. She made faces, rolled eyes and huffed her breath as she walked around. She finally brought us drinks after 15 minutes of ordering and then waited 30 minutes before coming back to take our dinner order. She was also overworked with many inside and outside tables and was taking it out on her tables. We will not be back.

The first night my wife and I ate here the food and service was great, I had one of the assorted seafood plates and it was all cooked to perfection, my wife had the crab cakes and loved them. The second time we ate here about 4 days later the service was rather poor and the food just wasn't quite the same. I had a similar seafood assortment plate and my wife had the shrimp, neither one was cooked right and the flavor was off. Both times we ate here we sat outside on the patio near the back of the restaurant and enjoyed the sunset which was very nice. Overall I would say it was average because within the span of a week it went from excellent to poor, I guess it depends on who is working that night.
