This property offered a nice option with the kitchenettes and the BBQ grills onsite. Even though we were in the height of Spring Break season, we found the resort to be quiet, relaxing and very enjoyable. Great beach views.

It is hard to believe that there could be better buys for your money than the Sandpiper Gulf Resort. While not huge and pretentious, you couldn't ask for a more relaxing, attractive, convenient nest on the beach. And the coffee is always fresh and hot. Two nicely sized pools [one for adults only, one for 'family'] both within 50 yards of the gulf; lovely landscaping around the pool deck with lots of deck loungers. The soft white sand is gorgeous and the sunsets are unbelievable!

The rooms are very clean and the staff do a great job. They've done some updates and it shows. Still some updates for style to go but really is a great place to stay on the beach. Comfortable beds. Parking is limited and one night we return late and had to park down the beach at a friends. The security gating works great but bangs when people are careless. Kitchen does not have an oven but just enough for our vacation - I'd rather not be cooking all the time. Lot's of kids in the pool but there is also an adult pool that's lovely. And you can rent chairs and umbrellas as well as all kinds of sports stuff just out front.

Room Tip: Pool views are a bit exposed but if your kids are playing there it would be great

Just stayed here for spring break. The rooms have a full sized refrigerator, microwave, 2 burner stove, and dishes, silverware, & pots and pans. Even though we had a pool view room you could still see the beach/ocean from our balcony. Quiet part of the beach away from the college spring break crowd, but we had our college age son with us so we ventured down to Times Square so he could be among kids his own age. We enjoyed this resort, just hated the slow traffic heading to Times Square - not the resort's fault. Very friendly staff as well.

Got the last room as a walk in so paid the full price. The rooms are a bit dated for European taste but practical with a small kitchenette. We went shopping and made our own continental breakfast there for two mornings and they were the best breakfasts of the whole trip overlooking the sea and the wonderful beach.
The room was clean, the staff were friendly on check in and out.

The roads were chaotic, no fault of the hotel but a warning for anyone in a hurry, we queued every time we left the hotel grounds.
