Bought this unit 29 years ago and have seen nothing but great things happen to this property! It sure gives "timesharing" a good name. manager, owners, guest and all else is always great. if you have a problem with this place;you need to be treated. nice, nice, nice!

Room Tip: try to get a upper unit for the great view

This little Timeshare of 15 units is located directly on the beach with lovely sunset views from the screened terrace and within walking distance to the square and pier and lots of restaurants. Our one bedroom unit is simple and dated but clean with two twin beds. Although satisfactory do not expect a Gold Crown Resort. The only amenities are a pool and common laundry area. Bring your own beach towels! Hats off to Donna, the Manager, who sees that you have everything you need and is font of information about the area.

Room Tip: All units face the Gulf and have lovely sunset views!

We waited 3 years to trade our VRI timeshare to use this property. It was fabulous! The location is great. All the comforts of home. Donna, the manager, is very helpful and serious about her responsibilities. Don takes care of the maintenance of the facility and he couldn't be a nicer person. They both are very attentive and work hard to keep the facility in shape. The pool area was always clean and a great place to relax. I am looking forward to returning with my family. Thanks Donna and Don!!

Room Tip: Great view of Sanibel and sunsets.

Great location near town. Every unit beachfront. Not fancy but very comfortable. Excellent wifi. Very small complex. The beach here is white sand, easy to walk on or even ride a bike. Lots of shells. Great for a family. We've stayed at a lot of places and this is one of the best. Donna in the office was very helpful. We would definitely return again.

The property management is excellent. The room has everything you need for your week stay. It is not a fancy resort but has a warm character that is created by the management and the people that stay there. I've stayed at 5 Star Resorts that are new and have all the emenities but have an atmosphere that is lifeless and cold. The resort is right on the beach. The beach view from the balcony was stunning. The property is in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to Times Square but in an area on the beach that is less populated. So you have the best of both worlds, things to see and do close by but more private when you want some quiet time. It's a great place to vacation and I would recommend it to anyone.

I've been an RCI member for 18 years and have stayed at many top resorts. Is Beach Club I a 5 star resort? No, but location is perfect and if you don't need your day planned for you, it's ideal. Don't expect a fitness room and room service. It's basically an apartment for a week. If you run low on toilet paper etc., get some more from the office.

When we first walked in, I admit, I was a little disappointed. The decor is not fancy. It's rather minimalist. A full kitchen, living room/dining room, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and two really nice screened in balconies. The balcony off of the living room faces the beach. Beautiful!

We went to the Publix a few miles down the road and fixed most of our meals there. There's so much to do in Fort Myers. You just need to do a little research.

The building is about 30 years old. The laundry facilities are on the main floor and there's one elevator.

I really grew to love this place! My mom, with whom I traveled with, even looked into purchasing a week here. Unfortunately, the week she wanted wasn't available. I would go back in a heartbeat!

I uploaded some photos to give you an idea of the decor etc.

The good
The resort is beach front, the management is very concerned and was excellent. The pool is nice with great beach access. The living room/dining room was comfortable with a sofa, 2 chairs, TV with DVD. The sleeper sofa was resort quality that was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all items needed, but think your Mom’s kitchen from 1980 – it really looks like it! The unit was well stocked and was clean upon our arrival. The pool was clean, but often felt we should just leave due to the other owners. Nice BBQ area with items needed to fix your dinner.

The not so good to BAD
The bedrooms were similar or worse than a Motel 6. They had old blue indoor/outdoor carpeting, stained curtains, broken safe, marked doors, peeling grey wood panels – yes you read that correctly wood panels – think 1970. The tiles in hallway are cracked, the fridge was rusty, all walls and doors were marked or scuffed. This could be corrected by cleaning or with a little paint. Many items in the unit need replaced or updated, items mismatched – from door handles, towels, sheets, to towel racks. It just felt like a very cheap hotel room with a nice view. It really did feel like it was built in 1979, if you like retro – this may be the place for you.

They do not provide shampoo, beach towels or even a hair dryer. Most units are occupied by owners, the maintaince fees are very low – so one might assume this is the reason there are not many updates. The living room was updated after a Hurricane – but that was 6 years ago. Many other items are very old, even the kitchen faucet was just left without a top – why replace it – it still works?

There are no planned activities, if you are renting or trading into the property, be prepared for the possibility of a less then warm welcome from other guests. One family was wonderful and very friendly. Many others made us feel like the unwanted new boyfriend at a family reunion – not very pleasant for your vacation.

We would not return and I wish someone had written an unbiased review from an outsiders view. We would not recommend this property even with the beautiful views and wonderful manager.

Room Tip: Choose another property - it will make the timeshare owners happy!
