“Great setting on the water!”
Reviewed 7 April 2014

Great setting on the water by Salty Sam's Marina. The service was timely, friendly, and good. We appreciated that the host came back around to check with us about our experience. Food was real good but would not call it outstanding. We will probably go back some time.

“A nice happy hour experience”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

We were scheduled for a evening sailing and decided to go to the Parrot Key Grill for happy hours. We felt to prices were reasonable and lots of choices for discounted drinks. We had starters: oysters on the half shell, calamari, and fish nachos. The oysters were good, but not great. Calamari was very good. Our best choice were the fish nachos, were covered with blackened shrimp and shaved crab meat. We were pleased with the service and the quality of the food, and would consider returning for a full meal.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

After going to Fort Myers, every other year, over the last 15 years, my friends and I couldn't wait to go back to our "Favorite" restaurant. As in the past, the service, atmosphere, ambience and entertainment was excellent. We were surprised that in the past, the wait, was minuscule this time.( Saturday night) The problem was: they have changed their menu. After we questioned our waiter, we were told that there had been many changes to their menu since we were last there. We settled on selections which we could have gotten anywhere. We are not coconut, raspberry, mango, honey type patrons. The Drunken Shrimp Cocktail was crisp and tangy. Crab stuffed grouper, Bubba lump crab cakes and the Black and white tuna were marginal. We had a very courteous and conscientious waiter. We will not return.

“overpriced and overrushed”
Reviewed 1 April 2014

April,2014. this place is a real tourist trap. They can't get you out of there fast enough. Lovely spot overlooking Fort Myers Beach and a marina with open veranda where it would be nice to linger over a couple of drinks but they bring everything ASAP and take it away before you can put your fork down!!!The name of the game here is turnover. Nevertheless very busy. Food ok but not wow.and pricey for main dishes.Best plan is to go for Happy Hour and get out and go to supper somewhere else.

“Alcohol in our drinks?Don't think so”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

I visited here last year and was pleased with everything. This year, there was no wait. Friends and I ordered mojitos and I don't think they had an ounce of alcohol in them and for the prices they charge. The fish tacos were not good at all. Their mango sauce just funky. Waiter forgot my friends pop and then charged us for it. He happily removed, but just little things like that don't help when nobody is pleased with their meals. However, their entertainment has always been good, so if you want a night out for a few hours, I would recommend it. Maybe just stick to some appetizers and beer.
