Wauw beach is a two minutes walk with one road between you, its white and beatiful, the owner is very nice not always on location but dial 0 and he will be there in minutes, its a small room but we had a big bbq in the back also they had a pier and enough chairs to relaxe on, the only tip i have for the hotel is the water pressure in the shower. Conclusion go there its very nice.

Away from the hustle and bustle. Took the trolley to Time Square, off an on day pass $1.50. We had bayside efficiency. Perfect for us. Lounge chairs and table with umbrella and chairs right outside our door. Staff extremely helpful and the owner was a joy. They took pride in the cleanliness of the rooms. Pool was awesome and heated. Got up and enjoyed sunrise right outside our door with coffee. And we enjoyed sunset across the street at their beach with a drink! They had bikes to rent for a ridiculous low rate and a couple of kayaks to use for free. We absolutley enjoyed this place and will definitely be back!!!

Room Tip: Choose the Bay Side rooms!! Amazing sunrise

Just stayed here in May 2014. Lots of great updates to the rooms since the last time we stayed. The rooms have everything you need if you prefer to buy groceries and eat in. They even have grills on the bay side for a grill out! Their dock is great to fish off of. Gorgeous sunrise views on the bay. The beach across the street is the most amazing white sandy beach I have EVER seen. I would definitely stay here again. The owner's name is Travis and he is awesome. I don't know of any other hotels where people come from all over the globe and know the owner of the hotel by first name. That's class right there. Best on the beach in my opinion.

This is a small personal business. The rooms are spotlessly clean, but worn. I take clean over new and grubby any day!. Small rooms, but within inches there is a dock, at sunrise the scene is amazing. Birds to be seen, a manatee off the dock, and just over the road .. the beach and sea. We stayed 1 night, 2 times pre and post ferry to key west. we will return and stay longer. So much nature around you, nearby a bar or 2 and 7/11 store so you can stock up on essentials. a good quiet area, friendly accommodation, and to top it all .. v inexpensive.

Room Tip: Dock side is sunrise bliss. But either side would be brilliant .. it's a v small property

this is a fisher mans paradise, however myself and my husband just picked it as part of our road trip round Florida. The rooms are like little beach huts, very clean, very basic and very small. You could hear EVERYTHING from the attached properties, they are back to back, attached each side and above, they are made of wood so walls have no sound insulation, but it have to say everyone went to bed quite early. The bed was small and creaked whenever we moved. Overall I would not go again but that's because I am not a boat/fishing kind of person. The pool was lovely and so were the people, it was just too basic for me.

We have stayed before a few years ago and this time we brought our daughter and two grandchildren. Travis is so nice and the place continues to get better! The price is very reasonable too. You can swim, fish, grill, walk across the street to the beach, catch a trolley to go to Times Square and just relax. I will definitely come again! Thanks Travis for making the Dolphin Inn "another day in Paradise"!!

This place was definitely a wonderful surprise! The owner, Travis was so accommodating and kind, the property is very nice and getting nicer all the time with the improvements being made by the awesome staff. (We stayed two separate occasions in November, both stays were amazing and we saw the hardworking staff making updates and improvements constantly!)
The location and beach access are perfect, and bike for rent to explore the island and beyond!
Lynn is a rock star! :) Literally!!! She is so fun and full of helpful info!
Thank you so much, we continue to look for ways to be able to call Ft Myers Beach 'home' hope to see you all again soon!! GO CARDS from KY :)
