Description: The Original Tiki Bar & Restaurant was built in early 1990 at the Fort Pierce City Marina. The Tiki Bar, as it is affectionately known, soon became a favorite destination for those in search of great food and drinks, all served in a tropical setting.Situated on the banks of the Indian River, the Tiki Bar boasts open-air dining under an authentic Tiki thatched roof. In August of 1998, the Lloyd family acquired the Tiki Bar and continues to operate the restaurant to this day. Carrying on the tradition that started in 1990, the Tiki Bar continues to offer excellent tropical fare in an atmosphere that will make you feel as though you are in the islands. Come to the Tiki Bar whereby . . . We overlook nothing . . . But the beautiful Indian River.

We had high hopes for this place based on other reviews. First, the waitress got my order wrong and sent the wrong entree. So, I had to wait for her to bring out the correct order (Mahi dinner). The Mahi was overcooked in places and had a rubbery consistency and lacking flavor. I will say that the coconut shrimp were good and the mai tai was excellent. Overall, the service was average, excluding the mishap with the wrong food order and the food was average. It seems what you really pay for is the waterfront location and live music.

Nice waterfront restaurant. The place is entirely open air. Our server was attentive and friendly. The conch fritters are excellent, as were the mani tacos. They offer $1 bags of food to feed the fish from the pier. TVs everywhere, but still a great place for families. Highly recommended.

Quite a disappointment over the food and price on this highly recommend restaurant. It was rated 3 out of 152 restaurant in Fort Pierce but what we had was just average food. Had an order of Crab sandwich and the local catch of the day which was the Mahi-mahi. The price for both were almost $40. That was way high for couple lunch items. Taste was ok for the Crab sandwich but the Mahi was a bit over cooked. We will definitely stay with the #2 rated restaurant which is 12 A Bouy which so far we have not had anything less than excellent and price was really decent for a 5 star restaurant.

We've come here 3 nights in a row now and have been consistently good each time! Plus this is our 3rd visit to Hutchinson Island and we come here every time! We can't get enough of their tacos... swordfish, cobia all good, no phenomenal! Literally their tacos are the best food I've eaten for a meal. Compliments to the chef(s), they do a great job and food comes out super quick. Happy hour is a good deal for drinks also. The atmosphere and ambiance of this place is so laid back and relaxing with the marina on all sides. Great views. Highly recommend this place, even for drinks and appetizers cuz it's fun. The ahi tuna nachos also fantastic! My boyfriend had the goat cheese and fig burger and he enjoyed it a lot. Juicy and good flavor. The pina colada I got had good amount of alcohol in it, they didn't skimp! Go check this place out!

Called into this restaurant on the way to our holiday villa. There is free parking close by and the restaurant is right by the marina. The building has a Hawain look about it, open sided with a thatch style roof.

We got a table right by the marina so we could really enjoy the view and people watch.

Our server was very obliging and explained the food and drinks menus including the daily specials.

We chose the conch fritters and the fish dip as appetisers, these were delicious, the Conch has a little after heat but wasn’t unpleasant.

For main we had Cobb salad, coconut shrimp salad, tacos with fish and coconut shrimp with fries.

Everything was lovely and came quickly, portions were rather large and we couldn’t finish it all. We also tried the local Yingling beer which was lovely.

Staff were friendly and attentive.

Would definitely go back.
