The pictures for this condo show exactly what you get. The view is spectacular although you cannot see the sunset fully from your balcony due to the Islander next door. But just go down to the beach. :) This condo was decorated professionally and it shows. I do wish it had a few more convenience items such as Beach towels, dish scrubber, dish pump soap, etc....minor issues. One thing we disliked...well, really the ONLY thing we disliked was the bed. It was SO HARD. It was like laying on the floor. The bed linens were very hard and stiff also. With such a beautiful condo, I was very shocked that the bed was not upgraded and soft linens and updated bedspreads were not included in the update. The bedspread is very 90s. My only suggestion would be to do away with the old bedspreads and the very hard mattress and get a duvet and softer sheets and beds.
The couches were very cozy and all the other furniture, in the condo, was great. The kitchen was not stocked with any more than very very basic items. There are no seasonings here. We really enjoyed the spacious shower in the master. The balcony was decent and possibly another easy update would be the patio furniture. It is pretty basic plastic and not comfortable for long sits outside. The windows are HUGE and have screens in them perfect for opening and listening to the ocean. We loved the smart tvs and if you have netflix you can log into your account there. I like ET also for their very short easy boardwalk and it is such a short walk from steps to water. The beech guy is very polite and helpful. We had no issues with other guests and found everyone in our building to be very kind and quiet (And we stayed on Laborday weekend so it was packed) Even though the towers were full you would never know on the beach. This is such a smaller building that the beach stayed pretty clear. Where as, Islander, next door had 2 rows of beach set ups...we didn't even have a full front row. This was a big plus for me.
The pool is very small but I do like it is in the front so it doesn't impede on your beach views. Also, There is no hot tub. The elevator was well maintained and we had no issues at all while there. All in all, we would love to stay here again; However I am not sure I could deal with such a hard mattress again. Thankfully this was just a long weekend...I don't know how we would have felt staying a week due to the mattress. Otherwise this would be our go to condo for all our trips.
Tips- Stewby's seafood shanty is in the town of Fort walton and it is the best seafood we have ever had in the area. Get the shrimp and grits! The shrimp are the size of your fist. The gumbo is also the best in the area...and I have had a lot of gumbo.
Old bay steamer while seemingly a good idea...is VERY over priced and the seafood was not good. I am pretty sure a lot of it was frozen. If you are not a huge seafood guru you may enjoy it but I am and it was rubber.
Bring deep woods OFF spray. We got hoarded by flies that bite on the beach one of our days there. They cleared the entire beach on a gorgeous day at 4pm. I had never experienced this in Ft Walton but apparently this is a thing in Aug-Sept there.
Oh and final note- we had excellent experience renting from Wyndham vacation rentals. I strongly recommend them, as well.

We have stayed at Okaloosa Island five times and this was by far the best condo. Everything was fresh and new. The views from the living room are exactly as pictured in the photos. The kitchen was well-equipped (but you'll need the bring/buy all the basics like salt, pepper, oil etc if you plan to cook).
