First time to play here this week and definitely not the last. This is a big course set in the pines. No distractions like a other courses just large fairways and big greens all in great condition. The employees were also friendly and helpful and this course will be a regular stop for us now.

Wife and I played Windswept Dunes this morning and the course is in fantastic condition. Here's why you'll have fun. First of all you have many choices of tees from way back (longest course in Florida at 7700 + yards) to 4 shorter tees.Second, the fairways are wide and the greens are huge, really huge. The green are prefect; balls rolls nice and smooth.

So if you want to have a good time, playing a great game, this is a fantastic choice. It beats the resort courses in the area hands down and at a fraction of green fees. At the resort courses you get to pay allot for little also get to wait every shot.

I live at Windswept Estates and have seen this course grow in popularity over the past couple years. Golfers are very happy playing the course!

Nice challenging course. Playing from the tips is damn near impossible as it is the longest course in the state of Florida. The greens are huge and we had a couple putts that were well over 100 ft. Nice white sand bunkers all over the place and a great value. Highly recommended.

A well-manicured, wide fairway course that is worth the drive to Freeport. Just a short 30 minutes from Destin, this course is a real delight when compared to the higher-priced Sandestin and other comparable layout courses in the immediate Destin area (Kelly's Plantation, Regatta Bay, etc.). With 6 teeboxes to choose from, you can challenge your appropriate skill level; spacious greens often offer interesting elevations/tiers, but are true-running. I would recommend this course to anyone.
