What a beautiful property. Very fresh and clean. Room is very well designed and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty much the same as other select service properties which means gluten free, dairy free, or healthy foods are not in abundance.

My wife and I stayed two nights in a King Suite. Really noisy from outside and the A/C was rattling or some weird noise all night. There was a nail in the bathroom hall floor that was sticking up and we finally had to take care of the problem! The young lady that checked us in was very professional, but the young man that followed her shift was very rude. We ask for ice, because the ice maker had been turned off and there was none. He advised us that the refrigerator had a ice maker if we knew how to use it, if not come down and he would try to give us a bowl of ice! This young man just wanted a paycheck and his shift to end.
We will try them one more time, only because I have a Marriott Rewards Card.

We stayed here for my little sister's graduation and a good time was had by all. The suite was spacious with a kitchen and stovetop. It was clean and comfortably fit 6 people. You can even submit a grocery list and the hotel staff will deliver it to your door with no extra charge. There is a BBQ grill out by the pool and breakfast was hot and plentiful (eggs, sausage, fruit, pancakes, cereal, etc.). We really enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: When there are big UF events, advance booking was actually not as helpful. We actually drove up and...

This lovely hotel provides comfortable accommodations in a convenient location.

Our 5th floor suite was beautiful, roomy and very comfortable (king bed, full kitchen, bathroom a bit small but adequate...no ventilation fan in bathroom). Interstate noise was a problem the first night, but we borrowed a fan from front desk and had no problems thereafter. The wifi works great...no delays; there is delay in changing tv channels, however (?).

Breakfasts were adequate...only one toaster, which slowed things a bit as the hotel was crowded; eating area a bit crowded, but weather was beautiful and outside areas provide plenty of extra seating.

The outdoor firepit is a really nice touch...enjoyed sitting outside and chatting with other guests.

Overall, a very nice facility. We will stay again when in the area.

Room Tip: If you get a suite on the interstate side, request a box fan from the front desk as you'll need...

I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the hotel. They have a nice outdoor area with a lot of seating and a fire pit. The room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. I would stay here again if back in Gainesville.

This is by far the best residence inn I've been to. Very new. The rooms are outstanding. Very fresh and updated. Never seen stainless steel appliances in a RI before. Outdoor fire pit is a very nice touch. Nicer than most full service Marriott props I've been to. Breakfast was standard ri fare. When it is busy they ran out of forks etc. the breakfast hosts were busting butt, just overwhelmed. Still decent, esp. Considering its free. Highly recommend staying here. Plus it is close to everything. You could walk to target and publix if you need something.

We stayed at the Residence in Gainesville I-75 for 2 nights during a busy event weekend and what a pleasant experience. The room was spotless and comfortable. All the employees were very professional and anxious to please. The breakfast was adequate. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. We will definitely try to get that hotel again next year. Thank you.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 1st floor near an exit and were not bothered by loud talking or slamming of doo...
