The food is wonderful. Service is good. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere? Hmm . . uh . . . well, I still give it an excellent rating.

The food here is great and my friends and I eat here regularly. Everyone I've ever met who has been there loves it. They have local organic foods, and the amount of food they serve is good for the price. They have some of the best local acoustic musicians play on Mondays and you can see someone who should be signed to a major label serenading you while you eat.

They have a great breakfast menu, great coffee, sweet specials, and nice taste in affordable wines and brews. The owners have a unique eclectic taste.

The servers are decent. All female. Similar to semi polite punk rock kids with the occasional hard working single mom. Most are covered with tattoos and some sort of bicycle gang rocker thing going on. Service is hit or miss. The guys in the kitchen are great and make killer food consistently.

Bring cash with you. The owner's refuse to put in an ATM, and it's a constant source of frustration for many people who eat there for their first time. If I had a dollar for every time I heard the servers say ," sorry we don't take cards" I would have hundreds of dollars. It turns a lot of people off. Bring the cash and you'll be fine. It's not that expensive. 7-16 dollar meals. There's an ATM next door in a pawn shop but it's often closed while the Jones is open.

I suggest the buffalo burger, the omega mega salad if you like salmon and want something healthy, huevos rancheros.... Honestly, just about everything they have tastes amazing and you'll probably be happy with it. Go for the food, not the service. One of the best restaurants in Gainesville for sure.
