Horrid food at fabulously high prices. The bartender was surly and had no idea as to how fake she came across. Not a good vibe about this place. Stay away. Much better places exist that are not a rip off.

Stan's on Sunday - you've got to try it!

It's - to be polite - rustic.

The food is fine. Nothing fancy, but just fine. It's good southern fare, including southern fried chicken, fried or grilled fish and fries all round.

But you don't go to Stan's just for the food. The atmosphere is terrific. There's live country music and dancin' too if you want.

The music runs from 1pm until 6pm, Alongside is a shop with plenty of different and fun things to see (and buy). You also get fancy motorbikes and cars to drool over.

This is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

You can even have a picture taken with Queen Mary for a dollar or two. Don't ask - just go!

Good food. Live music on an outdoor stage. Huge party on Sunday's. Stan's is very well known in the area. Stan himself was a real character and will be missed.

We had heard about Sundays at Stan's and decided to try it. If you want to get free parking you have to get there early. We went on St. Patrick's day and the place was a mob scene. The food was mediocre, the drinks had too much ice in them. The music started at about 1PM and it was OK. Mostly oldies and goodies. Do it once so you know what all the fuss is about.

Basically a beach bar without the beach. Located in Goodland which is a rustic little fishing town 5 miles east of Marco Island. We were there on Sunday night and they had a band and lots of people dancing and visiting. Music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk. Drinks were reasonable and pretty strong (be careful). The had a outside shack with grills going for burgers and fish sandwiches. A great place for a liitle fun and a burger. No reservations required, plenty of seating.
