River Park Inn

This is the perfect place to experience the bustling metropolis of Green Cove Springs! Pat is very welcoming and a wonderful cook!! The house exudes comfort and relaxation. It is right across the street from the famous spring that gives this small town it's name.

Traveling thru Florida, my husband and I happed upon Green Cove Springs, Florida. We found the small, quaint town to be very interesting and decided to take a break in our trip and see if we could find a bed and breakfast in the town. We found River Park Inn and called up the innkeeper, Pat. She happened to have a room open for the night. The b&b is in an updated historical home, full of antiques. Pat told us a very interesting story of how she can to be the owner/innkeeper of River Park Inn. We stayed in "The Master Suite" It was a very charming room and had a veiw of the river. It consisted of a very large bedroom with a gas log fireplace, and large private bathroom. The bathroom was awesome! It had a large setting area, large vanity w/sink, a seperate shower and a whirlpool. An upstairs screened porch with a view of the river is next to the room with a refridgerator stocked with refreshments. Across the street is a natural mineral spring that is very interesting. The warm water, which consistantly flows, is pumped into a large swimming pool that serves the community! Beyond the spring is the river which we wandered over to and as we walked along the shore, we ran across on old historical church which is open 24 hours a day except for Saturday nights to prepare for Sunday mornings as it is still being used. The next morning we enjoyed a hearty home cooked breakfast. Pat is a very sweet and interesting owner, innkeeper and host. If planning a trip to this area of Florida, I would highly recommend planning a stay at Park River Inn in Green Cove Springs, Florida. There are plans to bring a river boat into town soon! We enjoyed our short stay and plan to go back sometime when we can stay longer!

Room Tip: Choose the Master Suite. It has a very large bedroom with a gas log fireplace, an extremely large ba...
