We (me,wife and 2 kids) went for lunch first time last year,in october. After long wait to have a waitress to assist us,we had our lunch (was a regular weekday and the restaurant was about 40% occupancy) but we tough maybe was her first day at this job, considering the way she took care of us and the disorganization. When we order the check,we realized that my credit card was charged $ 135.00 instead of $ 73.00,wich was the correct amount we spent.More wait, talk to manager, call the bank... Desnecessary to say we were very disapointed w/ this place but, even so,we decided to give a second chance today,Sun 17/06/12,fathers day...hard to imagine how TEN PALMS still doing business! Our waitress (Rita) seems like she wanted to be anywhere in the world but working there!! It tooks almost 30 min. to bring us 2 coffes (served in a paper cup instead mugs the restaurant use...) and when asked why does it took so long she did not even tryt an apology but repply instead "BECAUSE I'M BY MYSELF AND THERE'S A LOT OF CUSTOMERS HERE !!" ...ok...we order our check after that and promissed ourselves do not come back again, but there's more: We suposed to be charged $ 85.00 for this "wonderful" experience but then (and again) we were (over)charged $ 150.00 for our breakfast !!! We think or is this a real mistake, bad luck or whatever or is a regular policy of TEN PALMS to offer a bad - excuse-me - TERRIBLE service and ten overcharge their customers?? If you're very,VERY hungry and have nowhere else to go,I wish you good luck! But dont forget to pay attention when you sign your check!
