Originally we had scheduled to stay at this park (unfortunately, they do not allow pets to stay in the park), but I have to say that if you do not travel with pets....this is a HUGE....AWESOME place to stay. Lots of activity....beautiful!

I moved to High Springs primarily to be near Ginnie Springs. It's open 24 hours, provides all I need as a cave diver: Great cave, easy access, almost always available (doesn't flood easily,) and more. It's a bit expensive to get land access at ~$24/day or ~$353/year.
The grounds are in a beautiful setting on the river. There are at least 2 bath houses. The madness that ensues during a public holiday is sickening. Drunks, stupidity, rowdy doesn't describe it, music blaring so loud as to be heard in the next town, violence, crowds, annoying questions, and more. There is tubing available, swimming, and camping. There is a little cafe onsite that provides pretty good food and service though it's also expensive.

It was so crouded. And it took us forever to get the rental tube. And also there is no shuttle to the tubing launch place. With little kids, this is so inconvenient. If you want to do tubing, I would recommend to go to Itcheetucknee especially if you have young kids.
