We enjoyed our stay at High Springs Country Inn- would have liked a pool because it was so hot, but we spent most of our time out at the springs anyway. Hotel had powerful ACs though, and there was plenty of space for our family of four to spread out (not adjoined rooms, but the room it self was quite large).
The grills are out near the front of the hotel and don't have any covered shelter, and with Florida's rainy weather this can be a problem, so consider it when planning to do hot dogs/hamburgers one night.
Very reasonably priced, and there's a neat little gem and mineral store right next to the hotel. The hotel is also with in a short drive/walk to local restaurants.

Room Tip: Check out their web page.

My husband and I stayed here based upon the great reviews, and were sadly disappointed. This hotel and the rest of the hotels in High Springs are stuck in the 50's!!
When we entered the room the furniture is old and delapidated, and the bathroom was even worse. The drain in the bathroom lifted out and the bathroom tile grout was black. The other problem because this is a older property the windows are jalise, which translates to noisy. The parking is in front of your room so when people are locking their car(beeping), and slamming car doors it sounds like they are in the room with you. The other issue was the cleanliness of the room; the carpet appeared dirty and the alarm clock had a huge gob of something gross on it(yuck)!! I understand this property is a great price, but we have stayed at Sleep Inns for the same price and they were much nicer. My suggestion do not stay in High Springs unless you stay at the Grady House Bed and Breakfast(the only new property). The only positive point on this hotel was the owner Mr. Patel was very nice, and tried to resolve some issues we had there.

We have stayed at the Inn a number of times while diving in the area. I like the 'family-owned' attitude. The owners continue to work to improve the service, they remember you from previous visits, and are a pleasure to deal with. For a fair price, you get a comfortable, clean room - nothing fancy or frilly, just a nice place to stay. Although I usually stay there with fellow divers I would be very happy staying there with my wife and family. It is convenient to dive sites, restuarants, etc.

My wife and I stayed here on our anniversary motorcycle trip. Cant beat the price, the people running the place were very nice. The rooms arent anything spectactular but if you just want a clean cheap place to sleep this is the place. We were able to park our bike right in front of the room, nice diner across the street called Springs Diner (we ate there twice and both meals VERY good). We had been to Ichetucknee River kayaking and swimming earlier in the day and this place was perfect, only a few miles from the park and way better than driving all the way back out by I-75. We were recommended two places to check out for drinks in High Springs. One was the Santa Fe bar... it was ok but not sure id recommend it lol... the other was Great Outdoors restaurant and bar. Now tha place was awesome. They had live music, awesome drink specials and the bartenders were probably the best we've had anywhere!!! We had such a blast with them we ended up being there till closing and hung with the staff. We didnt eat at Great Outdoors but everyone we know raves about the food

I have stayed here during my frequent trips to High Springs and Cave Country. I would not stay anywhere else when diving in North Florida. The rooms are clean and quaint, and the beds are comfortable. The customer service is excellent. The business is family owned, and they go out of their way to make sure things are right, and well maintained. The location is convenient for accessing Ginnie Springs, and other nearby diving locations. It is also close to many places to eat. I consider High Springs Country Inn a good value, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We have stayed here multiple times in the past, and have always had a pleasant experience. The rooms are large and comfortable and include a mini fridge and microwave. The location is great for spring/cave diving and is very close to downtown Highsprings. The owners are very friendly and have gone out of their way to accommodate us multiple times. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in this area.
