What a pleasant surprise in a sparsely occupied mid size shopping center/strip mall. You really can't even see the place from the road so basically the only people who know about this place are locals. We are volunteering in the area and saw the reviews on Trip Advisor so gave it a try and glad we did.
Only open till 2 so strictly breakfast and lunch, but the menu is quite large. We had breakfast and the quality and quantity is comparable to the more expensive places in the area with significantly lower prices. My quite large country fried steak and two eggs, with potatoes and Texas toast was $6.95 and very good. My wife had the veggie omelet (very large and full of fresh cooked veggies and cheese), also with toast and potatoes, was $7.95. There was so much food we will probably split one breakfast the next time we eat here. The quality was top notch.
While we did not eat anything from the large lunch menu, they have a full range of soups, salads, wings, wraps, sandwiches and of course burgers (1/2 pounders). They even have a double Angus cheeseburger (1 full pound!) with two sides for only $9.95. I love a good burger but that's too big even for me.
While most other diners seem to have been locals the server treated us just like locals, Very friendly excellent service. We really highly recommend this high quality diner. Just wish they ere open for dinner. Oh yes, spotlessly clean.
