The staff in the club lounge were exceptional !!! The Club Supervisor was so helpful and accommodating to meeting all of our needs. The evening staff were very attentive and took care of our every need.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was beautifully furnished.We had a wonderful view from our room.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel if you are going to Hollywood beach FL for it's staff and for the excellent location right in the heart of the action.

Where to begin??? Elizabeth...front desk typifies perfect hospitality. Suite we stayed in was spectacular. Gorgeous view...immaculate room. Five stars*****
THIS GETS BETTER....
We stayed in the Suite which was immaculate....spectacular view....
However, each time we ordered room service, Sandra Dee was our Server. Sandra was professional, friendly, and absolutely went out of her way to accommodate our every need. We were extremely select about our orders, but Sandra consistently greeted us with a smile and certainly went above and beyond.
She is a true asset to Crowne Plaza...kudos.

We loved this hotel. Right on the Intercoastal and has a water taxi stop right outside, near the pool. (And a short walk to the beach.) Very good breakfast buffet. Rooms very nice, clean and spacious. Kitchenettes too. Nice linens. We will be back. (With a 4 and 8 year old: They loved the huge pool and hot tub.) Don't go by any negative reviews of this place... as I'm not sure what they were expecting to begin with. This hotel is very nice. The staff was very polite. We will be back in June and we'll be booking here again.

We stayed at this property for three nights in January. We arrived early and went to see if we could check in. A woman (who had a manager name tag - I forget the name) wasn't that nice to us and accommodating. When we use Priceline to book hotels I find a lot of the time the front desk staff at any hotel treats us inferior to other guests - and this was the case. We had a few requests like being away from the elevator or the construction on one side of the building and she wasn't willing to help us out with that request. We opted to come back after 4pm and check in and we were able to get a front desk employee that helped us with a comfortable room. The room was very nice and had a wet bar, fridge and microwave. The balcony we had was clean and nice as well with a view of the bay and a small view of the ocean. The shower was really nice and comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and clean. We slept very well. The hotel was quiet which was a nice plus. One morning the hotel was evacuated at 7am and luckily we were awake and dressed.

The pool area was really nice, comfortable and clean. They have chairs along the bay which is a nice change. Within a few minutes I spotted a manatee swim by. The pool server told us it was rare. As a matter of fact, the morning of the evacuation we spotted another manatee swim by. The pool bartender apparently had the flu and was still working and serving drinks. We were disgusted by that.

Housekeeping was not the best. When we returned to the room after the fist day we had no towels and had to have some sent up. After the second day we had no toilet paper and had to have some of that sent up.

Overall we were pleased with the hotel. It's about a 20 minute drive North of Miami where we spent most of our time. We would stay here again if given the opportunity.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the ice machine. We were on two different floors and both machines sounded terribly loud.

Not a bad hotel, but it needs some improvement. The park-your-own car rate of $17 is not bad compared to other hotels and the lot is immediately adjacent to the hotel. The pool is very nice - heated with a couple of lap lanes, plenty of chairs, jaccuzzi, towels, right on the intercoastal. So when we checked in I requested a quiet room and as we approached our 4th floor room we heard this very loud noise. The ice machine - directly across from our room - sounded like a jet engine. With the door closed we could still hear it. We returned to the desk and got another room on another floor (desk clerk made a face). Any room with _26 is across from the ice machine (and near the elevator) and should be avoided. The room was nice, large. Peeling paint on bathroom ceiling and peeling wallpaper in bathroom is very unfortunate. Good location across A1A from beach - NOT on beach.

Room Tip: Do not take room 326, 426, 526 etc. They are near ice machine which is very noisy.
