“Perfect little hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

My husband and I stayed at the Paradise Oceanfront Hotel this past Memorial Weekend for our little stay-cation. First off, the location is perfect; just steps away from the Broadwalk and beach and just far enough from the main strip area but walk-able if you want to all the restaurants and shops. We had room 14 which is facing the beach so we had a nice view of the beach and ocean from our room. We made a point to get up every morning to see the sunrise right from our little porch. Keep in mind this hotel is a small establishment with very minimal amenities; free parking being one of them which is always great to have but especially during this busy weekend. It's also an older building but despite that, everything worked fine...great water pressure, nice flat screen tv, good size closet space and tall dresser for your clothes.

Elvis the hotel manager was very pleasant and accommodating. He allowed us to check in early and check-out late giving us extra time to enjoy the beach. The room itself is small but very comfortable and clean. Ours was an efficiency unit with a stove, oven, sink and small full size refrigerator. It also had a microwave and coffee maker; pretty much more than we really needed given we ate out for all our meals, but definitely nice to have if we needed to reheat leftovers and store our drinks. :) Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at Paradise Oceanfront Hotel and we will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Corner units 12 and 4 are larger and have more windows to view the beach.

We arrived early on Friday and our room was ready. Elvis was very helpful! He offered up beach chairs, towels and the wifi password. Room #12 is beautiful! Best view of the ocean and boardwalk. Super comfortable bed! The room was clean but a little dated. However, that type of thing shouldn't really matter considering you are a stones throw away from the beach. The boardwalk was peaceful in the morning and busy at night. Tons of restaurants and bars near by. I will absolutely be returning here next year.

Room Tip: Room #12 is the best. However, all the rooms looked great!

We recently stayed here with family for a sad occasion (one of many visits). We needed a place we could be together to share memories surrounded by the comfort of the ocean, palm trees, and sweet breezes. Those who needed distraction could walk to several casual family friendly restaurants on the boardwalk. No one makes you feel rushed when you're deep in family discussions. Elvis made us feel very much at home and was very flexible about our comings and goings. One family was able to stay long after checkout waiting for a flight (not always possible but we were lucky on this occasion). Even when the hotel is full, we've never been disturbed by loud neighbors. Beds are very comfortable but bathrooms are "vintage". We love the style and beautiful colored tiles but don't expect all sleek and modern. The Paradise -- including manager Elvis -- have so much character. It's a charming place with spectacular views and great location. We plan to return again and again.

We had another great stay here last month. We keep coming back because we love the location, the atmosphere, the service, and especially we love Elvis. He looks out for his guests, manages the parking system really well, and keeps the property in great shape. Second floor rooms are our favorite because we like to sit on the balcony with family. Room 9 is a one-bedroom with really comfortable living room... perfect for hanging out. Rooms facing beach on first floor are great too because you have a private little patio with a small wall that makes you feel very private, even though people are walking on the boardwalk feet away. They now have beach towels available for use... just ask. Hope future guests enjoy the Paradise as much as we do!

Room Tip: Room 9 for families... great hang out space.

Full kitchen, a trip to the grocery store was exactly the thing for us. ON the beach. Room 12 is were you want to be if one bed is all you need -- million dollar view. But don't shy away from this spot if that one is not available. We stayed in room 11 because we needed 2 beds (our 2 kids are 3 and 5). Perfect. The place isn't brand new so set your expectations but to be **ON THE BROADWALK **at this price is the **perfect combo. We're about a block from all the happening spots and restaurants so they're conveniently located without being affected by the late-hour noise and activity. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There are sand toys and beach chairs and umbrellas to share and towels also -- all without being nickel-and-dimed (it's all generously free here). We love the place, the people, the town and we will return!!

Room Tip: (there is no fitness center or pool) but Run outside on the broadwalk and swin in the ocena right ou...

If your looking for an easy going, laid back vacation spot with an AMAZING view, this is the place for you.
Our room (#12) has fabulous views of the ocean and overlooks the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. The room was clean and comfortable with a very comfy king size bed.
The kitchen was nice, table with 4 chairs, we used the microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer (full size) and coffee pot every day. It also had a 4 burner stove/oven which we did not use.
The bathroom was fine, we had plenty of hot water / pressure for our showers, having said that,
the shower curtain was in need of a replacement.
There was a flat panel TV which we used occasionally, it has tons of channels but not HD .
Free wifi, which was strong enough to stream movies.
Parking is also free and right out front. Elvis (Mgr.) and the staff (Sugar) were VERY accommodating, if we needed extra towels a hair dryer, you name it, they took care of us and were always available.

They also supply beach towels, boggie boards (we used every day), beach chairs
and umbrella's, there is also a nice gas grill.

Make no mistake, this is not the Hilton or the Diplomat, but then again we didn't have to pay for valet parking, or a "resort fee" to get wifi or beach towels or wait in line for the elevator.

Bottom line, AWESOME views, fantastic location, feet from the beach and ON the Broadwalk. Minutes (walking) from restaurants and shops .. LOVE this place and WILL be back.

This was the best place for us. We wanted to be on the beach, have a view of the beach and walk to bars. What a great trip we had this past April! The rooms were clean and we had a small fridge/kitchen which was great. Elvis had a cooler for us and lawn chairs to take to the beach. He even made sure he had an iron and hair dryer for me....I called him about 8 times before we arrived asking many questions. Elvis was always helpful with all of our questions!

I can't wait to come back and take 15 steps to the sand and wake up to a beautiful sunrise every day. What a perfect place for me!

Thanks Elvis and see you next year!!!!
