“Loved everything except the smoke”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2009

Just got back from 2 nights at the hard rock seminole with 2 teen daughters. We had a great room overlooking the pool with a balcony. Loved the paradise shopping area and enjoyed the slots in the evening. Also really enjoyed the pool so beautiful out there!!!
Our only complaint is the smoke in the lobby and the casino, just terrible. Woke up with sore throats from the evening before. Loved the lobby bar bands at night also!!

Checked into the Seminole Hard Rock on a Friday, for a one-night stay. Check in was quick. The hotel room itself was gorgeous. We had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and it was really good and the service was excellent. The gambling was horrible. I did not see any tables less that $25/hand minimum. Slots did not pay out at all. Didn't even keep me busy for very long. No free drinks while you play. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it did look nice. Took a walk around the shops, nothing too exciting.

The hotel is good, casino bad. Don't stay here if you think it's like Vegas. Not even close.

What a wonderful hotel. Beautiful pool area. The room was large and very clean. You will feel very safe as their is security everywhere. Many places to dine and the casino is huge. About a $20 cab ride to FLL airport.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino seems to be mostly for locals to go and get drunk and stay overnite. It is definitely not Las Vegas style. It is a mob seen which means every local known to man willing to take a shot at slots or if they are lucky enough to have their reservation called for black jack to try and win. Indian Gamming is what it is and the minute you sit down you know if your lucky enough to get a seat. The people are backed up two and three deep waiting on machines. If you are playing a slot machine you can be sure that people are hawking your machine to see what you have put in and how much you have played. They are waiting to jump on the slot machine. It is nothing short of a pressure cooker. The machines are also so manipulated. Forget all the RNG and text book on the slot machines. It is what hour and what day you play. If you are a slot player it becomes what the golden hour is. Don't think about getting up to go to the rest room you will never get back to your place. Pressure not fun. Plus they let anyone in baby strollers are running through the casino and what ever else walks in the door. Been to Vegas several times a year and never felt the way I did their. Never felt pressured in Vegas and never had to hold my personal belongings so tightly next to me. Not a great part of town and the traffic getting in and out is herendous. The later you go the worse it gets. It seems that tons of people just come in to drink. Again sovern nation they can do what they want including manipulate the games as long as Charlie Christ gets his cut. That seminole compact is really being pushed. So every body try for the golden hour and hope to find a seat. Maybe during the week when no busses are arriving or 5 o'ckock in the morning.

My friends and I went to the Hard Rock in February 2009!!
We had so much fun, so much excitement and also ate at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Great service and food!!!!
The only thing I think they should have more 1 cent slots and more of the Wizard of Oz slot machines.
Pool area was to die for, and the little huts were so cute!!!
Great shopping too !!!!

We stayed at the Hard Rock for 2 nights in Feb (17th & 18th) and had a thoroughly good time. Check in was a breeze. We requested a balcony and received it with no problem. Our room was beautiful and faced the pool.

The pool area is one of the best I've ever seen. Beautifully manicured with plenty of chairs. My only complaint is the music that was on during our stay at the pool. TECHNO? Hours of Techno music at the Hard Rock Hotel!?! This music was on all afternoon at the pool - I don't get it.

We didn't have a problem with the smoke in the casino as was stated in other reviews.

We did have dinner one night at Tequila Ranch. We liked sitting outside, but didn't think it was anything special and wouldn't recommend it. Service was slow, but in our servers defense, he got a 20 top shortly after we ordered.

All in all we had a wonderful time. Hope to go back again in the future.

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. We went with another couple and had a great time. We had a room with a view of the pool and it was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The hotel had plenty to do. We enjoyed being able to lounge by the pool during the day and play black jack at night. We spent one day visiting South Beach and checking out that area. All in all it was a very relaxing trip with plenty to do.

The only complaints that I have are that you have to pay for drinks when you are gambling and the waitresses do not come around very often. The service at the resteraunts was slow. Our favorite meal was at the Hard Rock Cafe, there is a variety of things to choose from and it was delicious. The food at the food court was okay and very reasonable. We ate one night at the Tequila Ranch, which is a mexican resteraunt and I would not recommend it. They did not have nacho's available on the menu and when the food came out the rice was cold. The frozen margarita machine was broken and we were all craving frozen margarita's so that was a bummer. Overall the food was not good, they did not have much on the menu and the food was pricey. They did say the were going to modify the menu to add more popular mexican dishes but until then it is not worth it.

We would definately go back, we really had a great time. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful and the gambling was a blast. The food and drinks are a bit pricey but we did not mind.
