We made reservations for the 9 am ride in august 2014! It was perfect temperature, not too hot, we saw about 20 gators, a few nice and up close! We saw a mama protecting her nest and she was a few feet away! The owner let us all hold a baby alligator and take pictures! He also has a beautiful group of birds, which drink coffee from a bottle cap!! This was a short ride from fort Myers beach and a great time was had by all. We weren't sure when we drove up, but it was a great time!

We had a 10am airboat ride on Lake Trafford. This was an ideal time as it was not too hot. The ride was an hour long and we saw plenty of alligators and many different types of birds. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided a good explanation of the ecosystem including the birds and vegetation. The authentic marina is also home to some exotic birds - we got one to talk, a huge python and other reptiles. The drive to and from Naples was easy. Very enjoyable morning!

We drove from Fort Myers and were so glad we made the hour long trip. We were late arriving and missed our 9:00 boat but everyone was so friendly and nice, they made sure to get us on the next one out. We loved the trip around the lake and we all learned more about alligators than we thought possible! We had a great guide (originally from Tennessee) and he was very knowledgeable. We saw many gators, gator nests, different birds and lotus flowers. Our kids loved the experience and so did we!

We drove an hour from fort Meyers to get here and to be honest out first thoughts were, what? Are we here? BUT! As soon as you get in the boat you are in for the greatest adventure and friendliest people on this planet! We had our 2.5 year old with and I was worried it would be too much, but it was great. An hour ride, well worth the money, I would go again!
We didn't need bug spray, go at 9:00am if you can, make a reservation, be ready to take photos and see lots of alligators!!
The owner looks like Santa claus and was so thoughtful towards our son. He let him talk about Christmas and he even told him not to be naughty until then. I loved it!
Our son held a baby alligator and was so happy.
I was hesitant to go but I'm glad my husband insisted. A great adventure of a lifetime!

Fun 1 hour adventure on an air boat with lots of gators and other wildlife. Our guests were from Philly and were surprised with the number of gators we saw.
