“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

Dining in a party of 4, we spent some time researching seafood establishments in the area. This little gem was hidden away but was well worth the effort. The service was fast and courtious and the waiter well informed and attentive. Don't let the plain (perhaps a bit rough) exterior fool you. The Islands is clean and well appointed inside. One in our party (a local) said it was the best seafood he had ever. We all tried one of the specials and each was better than was described. The soup of the day (a mixed seafood NE style chowder) was supurb. We visit the space coast frequently and will make the Islands Fish Grill one of our regular stops.

“Great little fish restaurant”
Reviewed 29 June 2013 via mobile

We parked round the back. The decor is quite unusual sort of Tandoori meets the barrier reef (see photo). They have some interesting pictures.
The bean salsa dip and nacho is a good taste of things to come. Caesar salad very good light dressing as was mixed salad. My wife had grilled snapper which was great. I had the grouper in onion with citrus sauce as it was the special. Both fishes were expertly cooked and moist the vegetables retained crunch and the sweet potato side was good. The grouper was "fish in marmalade" a bit sweet but surprisingly the sauces didn't overwhelm the fish.
They have Sam Adams and some wines but no cocktails.
Overall great meal for 70 for two. Will recommend it to my local friends.

“Excellent Grouper special”
Reviewed 28 June 2013

We stopped by for dinner after the restaurant was recommended by our innkeeper. Food was very good, fish was very fresh. It was quite busy, reservations highly recommended. We would return if visited the area again!

“Always excellent”
Reviewed 9 June 2013

We have been dining at Island's Fish Grill for well over 8 years. We have tried many different entrees and apps, all of which have been terrific. My husband and I always start off with their Caesar's salad-enough for 2 people to split. Some days the dressing is good, but the other day, the salad dressing was exceptional. It was tangy, without being too thick and fishy-tasting. We split the blackened tuna with nut butter sauce. They were gracious enough to substitute the mashed potatoes for their sweet potato fries, which are out of this world. The service is consistently wonderful-very friendly and accommodating. The bottles of wine are not terribly expensive. The only suggestion I have is that they need to have some type of air freshener inside the restaurant-sometimes it has a musty odor.
