Our last B&B experience turned out to be a glorified motel with some nice wallpaper and bedding. Heading to Pine Lodge having seen only the photos on the web site had us wondering if we might be in for a similar experience. Those fears were immediately quelled upon our arrival at Pine Lodge as we received the sincere and friendly greetings of our hosts Lea and Edwin. They were genuinely happy to meet us and were so nice that we felt at home right away. Their tour of the lodge and tales of local history were very colorful and revealed the true passion with which they conduct their B&B. The photos on Pine Lodge web site do not do the place justice. We stayed in the main house and we can tell you unequivocally that the rooms are much nicer than you would imagine by having only seen the pictures. We particularly liked the Native American theme that is evident throughout the common areas of the lodge. The full breakfast was phenomenal in a beautiful dining room. Don't miss out on the Yorkshire tea! The lodge is close to some very nice rivers and springs.
Thank you Edwin and Lea for renewing our faith in fine B&B's.
For the rest of you reading this, we cannot recommend Pine Lodge highly enough. If you are going anywhere near Inglis, this is definitely the place to stay.More
