We spent the weekend at this fun little B&B. The owners, Sergio and Jose were great, very helpful and full of information and fun stories. This B&B is located in Inglis/Yankeetown, not much there. You need to drive 10 miles for up scale restaurants, but there are some local fried fish places. But the area is so lovely, the Gulf, salt marshes, the beautiful Withlacoochee River. We went fishing off the bridges and along the marsh like the locals, got tips from the Captains Cove bait shop (our Innkeepers sent us there), and rode the bikes supplied by the B&B along the Riverside Drive and looked at the old (and some new) houses. It was a hot August weekend on the West Florida coast, but we had a great time. We tried to explore the Withlacoochee Gulf Preserve, but too many yellow flies in August. But the place is a beautiful, it's worth checking out in cooler weather. We had an adventourous weekend. A great place for people who aren't afraid to get off the beaten path!

We really liked the Pine Lodge, breakfast was lovely and tasty. Our room was vey nice, very clean and well equiped. If you go, get one of the two suites with the sitting area, very nice extra space. Be sure to enjoy the pool on the property, it was a welcome place to cool off on a hot August day. One issue,if you want to canoe or kayak you have to drive into Crystal River or Dunnellon to rent a kayak. No one rents them in Ingles or Yankeetown.
This is a lovely little gem of a B & B, in an area that doesn't have a lot of lodging. We loved it and plan to return in the fall.

Room Tip: Get one of the two suites with the sitting area, nice extra space.

If you're looking for a getaway, that's quaint, homey, and fun, then the Pine Lodge is the place to go. Josi and Sergio are gems, so hospitable that there is no denying this place a 5 star rating. The city itself is a secluded area, but its a great place to relax, bike ride, chat will all the nice locals and enjoy what nature has to offer. I stayed in a cottage that came equipped with a queen size bed, couch, refrigerator, microwave and kitchenette. Josi and Sergio cook up a breakfast that's to die for, and don't forget to enjoy some of the Brazilian coffee they provide. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, my return to this location is inevitable. There is a reason this establishment doesn't have a single bad review. Loved everything about it, from the spacious cottage, to the delicious breakfast, sea salt pool and game room. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I will see you folks again soon.

The owners take it over the top in customer satisfaction. They took care of special requests for anniversary and the meals were five star restaurant quality. The rooms were immaculate and the bathroom was spotless. We would come back just for breakfast!

I cannot tell you how fabulous the stay at the Pine lodge Bed and Breakfast was for my wife and I. We try to find a special place for our anniversary each year and this year Sergio and Josie Soarez just made our stay outstanding. This is one of the great jewels that most folks drive by. Quaint but immaculate cottages. A swimming pool and breakfast provided by our hosts which is no less than gourmet. One would pay twice the going rate here and be happy!!

Room Tip: The Cottages have a kitchenette and seem so much more private.

Josie and Sergio are wonderful hosts! Our cabin was nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed our visit and plan to visit again. Josie's breakfast meals were awesome. We were provided with information about restaurants and points of interest for the area. Great place to stay!

The owners Josi and Sergio do a great job of making you feel welcome, even part of the family! My cabin was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything I needed: refrigerator, microwave, dishes, etc. Josi is very observant of your personal 'tastes' and accommodates them without you ever having to ask. The breakfasts were outstanding; I recommend you make it the primary meal of the day. Loved the coffee!

There are many opportunities to get out and enjoy nature nearby: bike / hiking trails, beautiful springs to swim in and rivers for kayaking or canoeing. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is the place is for you.

Room Tip: Cabin #8 is their largest with separate bedroom; closest to the pool and garden area - it's like...

When you read the other recent reviews for the Pine Lodge in Inglis, FL, you can believe every word. The amiable hosts, Josi and Sergio Soares, have gone out of their way to provide pretty and comfortable cabins and rooms, great breakfast cuisine (including plenty of STRONG Brazilian coffee), and a comprehensive guide to the springs, rivers, cycling trails and other natural attractions of this often-overlooked part of Florida. Beautiful Cedar Key is about 40 miles north, Homossasa Springs is about 20 miles south and the northern terminus of the Withlacoochee State (Bicycle) Trail is about 20 miles east near Dunellon, FL. This area is heaven for anyone who likes to paddle, fish or cycle. The scenic Withlacoochee River is a short drive from the Lodge and the mangrove forests along the Gulf of Mexico coast are only six miles west.
