Super woof woof park!! So glad to have this place. Separated for small and big dogs, lots of shade and squirrels for the pups to chase. Cooling off pods, rinse stations, and indoor bathing facilities. Fees are worth it, and vaccination paperwork required which is great for the safety of all our fur babies. No children under the age of 14 and office is closed on Mondays, however if your a member you have access 7 days a week. Tennis balls and various toys available as well as bags for your pets deposits Highly recommended!!

Thank Cheryl S

We have a dog park in Ocala, but we drive over to this one and not only pay the gas to drive there but pay the entrance fee to get inside. It's THAT worth it. The dog park in Ocala is a free range, anyone can come and go type of park. Dogs are not checked for vaccines and if they're spayed or neutered. AT BARK CENTRAL - your dog is screened, all of the shot records are required and you obtain a membership. The membership can be monthly or yearly. It's 10.00 a visit and totally worth it. The park is HUGE! It's SHADED all over the place, which is a huge plus living in Florida. There is a pond for the dogs to play in. That's so hard to find anywhere, and our dog loves the water. The best part, as soon as the dog is done playing ... getting dirty and wet, when you leave there is a rinse off and wash station - ALONG with a vacuum to dry them! This park is fantastic. I can take my dog there, knowing that 1) all dogs have had their vaccinations .. 2) that it's a membership, so not just anyone can walk in ... 3) I can clean my dog when we leave so he isn't sandy and muddy when he gets in the truck. I really can't say enough about this place. The 10.00 fee may be off-putting, but you're paying for a wonderful area and upkeep for your dog to play safely with other animals. They are also good about not allowing aggressive dogs staying. If a dog becomes aggressive, you will be asked to leave. We've witnessed it. We really enjoy it and will continue taking our dog. Please note, any children have to be 14 years or older to enter the main park. There is a large dog area and a small dog area. There is also an agility area for you to play with your dog, one on one and do agility training. This place is great. Really give it a chance.

We have been members of Bark Central since it first opened and our dogs are much happier and calmer after being able to be dogs. They run, sniff, make human and dog friends, romp with all breeds and have the freedom to be off leash. Because it's private park, we do not have to deal with owners who are not responsible for the health and safety of their dogs. Yes there is a monthly fee, but it is so worth it. The ponds are dog safe, even though the water may look green, that is caused by the not toxic and safe water treatment. Picture of one of our dogs after an afternoon at the dog park

Our dog LOVES going to Bark Central. The negative reviews must be people who do not understand the business. Bark Central is a park (with lots of acreage and a swimming pool for the dogs) to socialize with others dogs. They do make certain that the dogs are current with their shots and are non-aggressive. You will also find a collection of very nice people who are "dog-people" who take care of their pets. That is the point of charging money-- it is a private park. They also do a great job on our dog's nails.
