Service was questionable, food irregular in quality, when good the lasagne was outstanding, wanted to be a bar rather than a place to eat

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. We took the kebab and it was very good quality. But if you want some wine, an appetizer, or some dessert, it is too expansive for our wallet. We probably won't go back again without coupon. There was no music at the time we went there. The opening hours are little bit awkward on the weekend.

I went off the reviews on Trip Advisor that listed Eva's as the #1 Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach and normally I've not been misled. However, if this is the best that Jacksonville Beach has to offer, then I'd say you might want to drive a little farther North to find something exceptional.

Don't get me wrong, the food was good, the just wasn't equivalent to the price.

The Pros: Eva's is clean, the wait staff is friendly, and they have live music.

The Cons: Food was overpriced, too loud for conversation, felt rushed.

I would eat there again, but only if the prices came down or the menu changed.

We had a lunch in Eva's on the main road of Jacksonville Beach and had read in TA that it was highly rated. Overall, we though it was pretty good. The Louisiana Gumbo, a traditional dish we'd had many places many times before, in a large bowl was well above average, with shrimp, crab and fish over rice. The Greek meatballs appetizer was good, with olive oil and sauce. My wife really liked the Amatriciana with angel hair pasta with spicy marinara, bacon, grilled chicken, and fresh spinach. I had a Panzella Salad with garlic & herb croutons, red onions, tomatoes, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, arugula, baby greens & white balsamic vinaigrette (and without the olives by my choice.) The meal was good with so many options permitting us to focus on our personal varieties. Natosha was a good waitress, although she was closed to swamped with a group of fifteen older woman meeting for a game. We would be willing to return again.
