This hotel was clean and well-kept. It is right on the beach so if that's what you are looking for it is a great location for that. We went for dinner to Kona Beach club - you can find the reviews for it on here. It was a short drive and really good. The hot tub here is really nice - it has a waterfall.

We loved our weekend stay at this Courtyard, which is located directly on the ocean. Our rooms were spotless and very well-appointed with microwave and mini-fridge. The pool and beach area are fantastic, and the Tiki Bar is a nice addition. But what really sets this hotel apart is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone from the front desk staff to the pool attendant to the maintenance engineer was very welcoming and personable. They made us feel like valued guests, and we will certainly return whenever we can!

My wife and I have stayed here for two nights each summer for several years. The hotel is directly on the beach, has a georgous outdoor pool area and offers a buffet breakfast at an extremely reasonable price with the cheeriest waitress we have ever encountered.. Thre rooms are both comfortable and clean with a flat screen tv, small refrigerator, microwave and lovely well equipped bathroom. We recommend this hotel for anyone needed a relaxing sun-filled ocean front vacation.

Room tip: request room with balcony

My husband and I just got back this week from staying at the Courtyard Marriot Hutchinson Island. The hotel is located in the center of the Island and a great location right on the ocean. There is another Marriot further south but we felt it was out of the way on not on the ocean. They offered wifi in the main areas and wired in the rooms. For an extra $10 a night (to your room rate - $5pp) you could get breakfast and it was fabulous!!! Fresh waffles, eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, you name it! If you don't pay ahead it comes out to $25 a couple!! The help were all great and even upgraded us to an oceanfront room when we checked in because it was our anniversary. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom yes does have the door, but it is not totally see through, and we didn't give it a second thought. The pool was warm and you are steps to the beach. There is a company that rents chairs and stuff but we did not do that. There is a Publix on the island for groceries and stuff or a small market across the street for water and snacks. We ate at Shuckers on the Island which is perfect for the first night you arrive because it is not even a 5 minute drive down the road. In Jensen Beach we ate at Crawdaddy's, Mulligans and Conchy Joe's all of which were great!! This is a relaxing island with not that much to do (go into Jensen for bigger activities), but we had an awesome time and will only stay at this hotel.

Room tip: Make your reservation and then check back a week before for last minute rates

We love Marriott and as reward members choose Marriot hotels first on any vacation or business trip. We booked three rooms for ourselves and our adult children to attend a family wedding nearby. Check-in went smoothly, but it went downhill from there. The housekeeping staff was not good. Our room only had two glasses to use and none were in the bathroom. The glasswear wasn't cleaned or replaced for 3 days. Nor was our melted ice removed from our ice bucked for 3 days. We came in one day and found a dirty wet wash cloth in the middle of the floor. The room was dusty from day one. Our children in another room called the front desk 3 times on one evening over a 15 minute period and no one ever answered. They had issues with housekeeping as well. None of the rooms had the same ammenties yet they were all supposed to be the same. One room had an old tube tv that barely worked. The room rates were too high for it being the off season as well. The service at the breakfast cafe was appauling at best. Only the chef had a clue as to how things should be done and tried very hard to make up for other staff shortcomings.Only plus...it was nice having beach access but having to pay to rent lounge chairs as a hotel guest was a negetive.
