We had a great dinner while enjoying an open window view of the river. The salad bar was a meal in itself with great choices of fresh foods.

We usually sit in the back bar with a view of the river, for happy hour. Many appetizers are half off, and some of the beverages are priced less also. Fish fingers are great, but the buffalo shrimp are fabulous. Sauce is on the side, and they are small, but cooked to perfection!

My husband's birthday bash with 4 friends. He had the best piece of salmon he has ever eaten. There is a very fresh salad bar, an omlet bar and my favorite was the waffle bar. The waffles are huge and the chef asks you if you want one at a time....The sauces are delicious and you even get 2 sides with it. The antique atmosphere still remains and if you close your eyes you can imagine Frances Langford sitting in her yatch just beside the restaurant. History lives in this place as well as the old boat dockage area that has now been modernized. The Sunday Brunch was one not to be forgotten looking over the intracoastal water way. .

We always enjoy our visits here. The salad bar is fresh and they have a ton of options available. The chef is awesome and always makes sure I get a delicious vegan pasta dish. The wait staff is friendly as well. It's a great place to take out of town guests or meet local friends for drinks and dinner on the water.

I hadn't been to the Dolphin for a while and my out-of-town relatives wanted to enjoy the views.
First, be aware that they don't take reservations unless you're a group of 35 or more. Yes, 35.
So be prepared to wait for a table on the porch unless you show up at off-peak hours.
Fortunately, we only waited 15 minutes.
One entrée that I can recommend is the Oriental Tuna. It's served over noodles in a tasty sauce and the tuna is lightly seared. The portion was so large that I took home more than half of it.
Entrée to avoid: steak. This is a seafood restaurant. My sister ordered a steak. The first one came out very overcooked and the second was too rare to eat. The seafood entrees were all enjoyable.
