We thought this restaurant was awesome! After having a mediocre meal at the 2 Goats Saloon in Singer Island the night before, we were pleasantly surprised to find the Thirsty Turtle after visiting the Loggerhead Turtle Rescue Facility. We had a steamed clams appetizer which was only $5/dozen at happy hours prices. We each had 2 dozen. We also got the seafood cioppino which included shrimp, fish, mussel, clams, and calamari for $19.95. It was served over linguini, which I don't eat, so they graciously offered a side of steamed vegetables instead. It was amazing. We enjoyed eating outside, and the festive atmosphere amidst the World Cup Finals. Also, as we arrived for dinner at 430 ish, mostly everything else was closed until at least 5 pm, so it was good to find some place which was actually open. Would definitely return and recommend.

Thirsty Turtle is a great place for locals to grab a bite to eat on their lunch break, or to go eat dinner with their friends and family after work, to catch sports on their big screens, of which there is no shortage, and so on. Most of the food here is pretty good, with the exception of their chicken tenders. Don't know why, but the hot sauce they toss the tenders in never sat well with me, but that is my sole food complaint, as all other food I've had from there, including the fried mozzerella sticks, burgers, and seafood was all damn good with sizeable portions at reasonable prices. In addition, there is no shortage of local craft beers available, which they really advertise above most of the major brands, showing the restaurant's support for local breweries.

And speaking of seafood... the proximity of the restaurant to US Highway 1 and the ocean makes the place an awesome spot for people who were out on the Atlantic fishing to come in and wind down. Thirsty Turtle even offers a service where it'll cook your fresh catch for you to order for a nominal amount.

Also, the waitstaff is very friendly, and they know the local area, and aren't pretentious at all. It doesn't hurt that several of them look pretty good too, but that's just a bonus. Overall, you can't go wrong making the Thirsty Turtle a viable choice to go for lunch, to bring the family for dinner, or to catch a game with friends.

If you like a sports bar atmosphere, the Thirsty Turtle is the best sports bar in Jupiter because it not only has lots of tv's, but it also has a great staff and excellent food! The Thirsty turtle's wings are the best around and personally, I love their cheeseburgers. All of the guests I bring have ordered a variety of different dishes over the years and all have been pleased; from fresh catch dishes like Mahi Mahi to pasta!
