Beautiful park, with a variety of different trails, . A must visit site if you are ever in the South Florida area.I loved the fact that there is a bike and canoe rental facility on site , so you can walk or ride the different trails. An abundance of wildlife, quiet and just breathtakingly beautiful.

Reviewed 20 April 2010

I grew up at the lighthouse , and volunteer to operate the sawmill 3rd saturday each month .We occasionally gather friends to exhibit old tractors , huge old diesels, etc, circa (1920-1930) last show,I'm told , over 2000 came. We were at south fla fair yesteryear village, for years until they became unappreciative of our efforts. upcoming shows are usually advertised locally for the group (larger) events .--Ray Swanson

“Beautiful nature area/park in Jupiter”
Reviewed 2 February 2010

This over 600 acre county park has many walking and riding trails, canoeing, nature and history walks. It was the scene of Seminole War battles in the 1800s and later in the early 19th century was a citrus grove and saw mill. It has a wide variety of wildlife-birds and other animals to see while walking or hiking the miles of trails.
This lovely area is on Indiantown Road, just west of the entrances to the Florida Turnpike and I-95.
There is a place near the entrance to rent canoes to take on the lovely Loxahatchee River. They also rent bikes.
