Beautiful wilderness setting with canoe rentals, making it super easy to get on the river. We always spot alligators with their babies. They also have wild peacocks near the parking lot.

This place is a little piece of heaven. Natural beauty for picnics, abundant wildlife such as eagles, deer & wild turkey, quiet waterways for fishing, meandering trails for biking or walking. Our usual routine is to pack a picnic lunch, rent bikes in the morning ($10.00 a day/per bike) and ride till we get tired, find a pretty spot (usually Cowpen Lake) and have a picnic. There is also canoe rentals for the boating enthusiast. So much more to see and do here....go and enjoy yourself. No charge to get into the park, plenty of parking.

This is a serious nature-lover's paradise for walking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, picnics--also horse trails.
But, it does have great paths and lots of them. Large park. There are Sandhill cranes, wild turkey, deer, peacocks, and other animals to see.

Mt grandkids can't get enough of one special tree and we love to pack a picnic lunch and sit under the pavilion to enjoy it.. Well located in Jupiter with easy access from the road. NO DOGS, however. I find it has easier access than most parks so that makes it no trouble whatsoever. Ignore the stuff about the rednecks and rude people as it could scare you away from a great place. I have never encountered that. I am a local.

Beautiful place however you can't take your dog there. It's a nice place to spend time and you can kayak there too. Take it all the way to Jonathan D Park. Great fun.
