My young daughter gave me a groupon for her and myself to do the chocolate making class. While the groupon was $50.00, I can't image spending double that for this class. Maybe they cut back on the class because all TWELVE of us were groupon users??? Firstly, 12 people is too large for the area they use. For the fifty dollars we basically rolled a couple of mini stick pretzels in chocolate, dipped a marshallow in chocolate and made one chocolate cup by dipping a balloon. (by the way, they ran out of balloons and had to run to the store to buy more). While it was something different to do, the cost, even with the groupon, made this venture, very not worth the ONE hour that it took. Sorry...they seemed to be nice people though. Oh also, they sell this class as a BYOB, to make it sound a little fun. There is no where to drink your nice glass of wine and you are not allowed your cup in the chocolate making area. So why they call it that...I really don't know....

Adorable for the kids. They usually have classes going on for them. Cute ideas for parties, just a little too expensive.

If you're looking for something that's unique and yummy all at the same time, take a couple of hours and invest in the candy making class (or another event) at Tasty Image in Jupiter, FL!

I found this jewel on TripAdvisor and called ahead to make reservations for a 2 p.m. candy making class. My wife and I were in the area on a vacation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this year, and I thought this would be a fun thing to do one afternoon.

Gentlemen ... if your wife loves chocolate, or doing creative things in the kitchen, or just wants you to pick something to do WITH her that's fun (and edible), I can't say enough about this establishment. They were very gracious and kind to us and we had a blast learning how to dip and create things in and with dark and milk chocolate, and also white chocolate (which really isn't chocolate since it doesn't have cocoa in it!)

This could also be a great family opportunity to do something that's different. And you will absolutely leave with a new appreciation that goes into making chocolate treats, not to mention with the goodies that you made in your class! Brin was very personable and outgoing, interjecting facts here and there about the chocolate making process, and even giving us tips for how we could achieve similar things once we got back home. Austin took great care in taking a digital photo of us and then printing it in edible ink on a souvenir chocolate heart! (Edible printing is one of their specialties, and it was evident by all the various items you could have made for showers, weddings, birthday parties ... even business cards!)

If you are a local, you have an absolute treasure on your hands. Take your kids, but don't drop them off ... JOIN them for this opportunity. Ladies, take a group of your friends and enjoy the sights and smells, and get your hands "dirty" with some of this sugary delight. It was worth the price of admission, and more. If you're staying in the West Palm Beach area, make the drive up to Jupiter to this unassuming confectionery delight located in a nice shopping plaza and enjoy an afternoon in chocolate!

NOTE: There is no fee to visit the store, but there is a cost for the class. Go for it!

We are a group of 5 people 2 moms and 3 teens who attended the 4pm candy making class. This class is awesome, we all enjoyed it, and actually learned something from it. Janet (I think that's her name) is very friendly and welcoming. We all enjoyed the treats we did especially the chocolate cup with ice cream of our choice. We also had our photos printed on lollipop chocolates. I would recommend this class to any one. Oh by the way the class lasted for about 2 hours.
