“The Best Seafood”
Reviewed 13 June 2010

Casual dining great for families Menu varies from simple fish and chips to creative fisherman's stew. They offer daily specials and purchase fish from the local fishermen. Stop in and see the new high top tables at the bar area. Great place to stop and enjoy a cold beverage! If you haven't tried Schooners stop in you will love the food. You have to try the desserts they are amazing. Try the Schooner Pie

“CONCH heaven!”
Reviewed 8 April 2010

Other than a most surly waitress (I think we took too long for her liking to order) the food was tremendous.
We sat out on the porch after the dinner rush on a nice breezy Wednesday PM.
Started with conch bites (not the fritters) with a mayo jalapeno sauce. ROCKING good and sweet huge chunks of conch.
Conch chowder was just perfect (wanted another bowl said the husband....)
Spinach salad with nice large chunks of bacon... tangy salad dressing....
Specials included the Seafood Diablo, generous seafood (mushy pasta!)
Shrimp baked with crabmeat was a little rubbery, as if it had been sitting under the warming lamp a few minutes too long, side of steamed spinach was bland and the baked potato had seen better days.
STILL was excellent ... the conch was the best part of the meal

“Absolutely Great Seafood”
Reviewed 15 March 2010

We had been eating seafood most everyday for a 10 day camping trip in Florida. Some in restaurants and some cooked myself. This meal was probably our best of the entire trip. We wanted clams and they were out saying they were unable to purchase quality they wanted so we ordered fried scallops and grouper fingers. Both were very lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. I also had the conch chowder which was good but very spicy. We chose a seat in the bar over a long wait for a table. It was noisy as expected but the service was very quick. Everything was great with the exception of the key lime pie which was only OK. I would definitely go back again when in the area.

“don't give New England seafood lovers a bad name”
Reviewed 1 March 2009

We were a party of 4 and all of us had diasppointing food. The stuffed mushroomsb were not even stuffed just placed with alot of bread crumbs and cheese, the so called onion rings were supposed to be beer batter ( not just out of a bag) , the crab cakes were mushy and missing crab. Linguine with fish tasted like jar sauce, the stuffed shrimp was dry and overcooked, the fishermans platter was the poorest cut of dolfin (the lowest portion belly of the fish) the whole dish was nasty and poor presentation. The only meal that was decent was the crab legs
