We are Canadians staying in Florida for the summer and in all our travels this was the favorite spot for the whole family. A local retiree advised us to check out this spot.
The kids loved this park for the snorkeling, lagoon swimming, friendly local kids and a beach with very little waves. Mom and Dad loved it because we could park our car a short walk to the beach, sit close to watch the kids, bbq in the park, the view of the Jupiter Lighthouse and watching all the boats travelling to and from the inter-coastal.
We visited 4 times in the past two weeks and the kids want to go again before we leave. A good assortment of tropical fish swim among the rocks and a lifeguard is on duty regularly. (The website posts hours) A great place to pack a lunch and stay for the day. Be aware the park is busy on weekends. Each visit we have met many great people from the area who were wonderful and friendly to talk to which made our visit even more special.

DuBois Park is a little slice of heaven. You can sit in your beach chair, relax, read a book and watch the boats go by on the Inlet. You have a perfect view of Jupiter Lighthouse and a calm, saltwater lagoon to swim in. Love the ocean but not the waves. You can snorkel along the rocks, fish in the inlet or just sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Watch the artists paint watercolor and oil of the lighthouse. If there are little ones, there's a safe lagoon for swimming and a play area. Several picnic tables and grills make it a day long destination. Facilities are clean and easily accessible. Lifeguards on weekends but the best time is during the week when it's quiet.

Love this place. I met a friend who was visiting with her family 2 x here. I am 1 hour south of the park but well worth the drive. Even my hubby who does not like sand went with me and loved it. The only downside is if the tide is going out there is little water. Watch the tide schedule.
Bring water shoes, mask snorkel and noodle or raft. Pack lunch and drinks there is nothing there to buy. Those are my suggestions. Clean bathrooms and showers. So beautiful. Can't wait to go again.

Although there are several areas within the park, we always frequent the area next to Jupiter inlet. There is a protected area separating the deep water inlet from the beach area making this a perfect place for kids to enjoy...deep enough for adults to swim, but shallow areas for the kids. Place your chair under the palm trees, your belongings on the picnic tables and light the grill if you want. Bathroom facilities very close by as is parking. It is fun to watch the boats going in and out of the harbor (Jupiter Lighthouse) while relaxing. Nice views of the lighthouse, the boat traffic, and the Atlantic Ocean. a nice, free park to visit whenever in the area.
