While the resort had a lot of amenities and activities for family, the front desk employees were not as friendly or helpful at check in as I would have expected. With a 3pm check in they should be able to give you an estimate of when your room should be ready so you are not sitting around waiting for 4 hours but can plan your day. The rooms were not clean and we did not get fresh linens or enough towels each day.

This is the PERFECT place to come to for a relaxing vacation with your family, and even extended family - grandparents, and children of all ages, etc. We try to come here every year. This year we brought my parents and our children and rented a 3 bedroom villa which was spectacular - full kitchen, living room and bedrooms and washer/dryer. Great heated pool and right on the beach. The kids enjoy renting a 6 person golf cart. There is so much to do and the main hotel has so many great activities planned if you are looking for something to do. We look forward to coming back next year and hopefully convincing some friends to join us as well.

Great setting, room was private and quiet, and the rate was reasonable. That being said the room smelled "old", a bit "used", or in need of a facelift. The mattress on the bed was low quality. I think the issue is the rooms are privately owned and then the OMNI gets to be the rental agent. The main hotel looked like a giant cruise ship -- it was crowded during spring break, so that is understandable. I heard that the food was good at the restaurants.

The pool and beach are the best. Parents can have drinks and the kids can get snowcones. Our family of 4 stayed in a villa, which was spacious, well-appointed, and relatively clean (a little mildew on the shower curtain). The only complaint was the resort food. Restaurants were overpriced, and the menus were limited. It would be better if they used fresh local ingredients and simpler menu items.

The resort property is quite nice. We loved the size of our condo unit and the convenience to the main building/pool & beach. We had some minor issues with the cleanliness of our unit but overall had a really nice time.

We stayed in the Villas due to the hotel being sold out. Loved be over there because it was super quiet. The rooms were nice. The resort was lovely and we would definitely return. My only complaint for this resort is that they CHARGE for use of BEACH CHAIRS and umbrellas. With a resort one would NOT expect that. Just another revenue stream they are after.
