“Nicely done!!!”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

We stopped by the Nature Center after we had gone through the shops at the plantation. We were impressed by the friendly staff. If you visit, get some turtle food at the front counter. They have a dock out in the back where you can the feed the turtles in the lake. It's pretty neat to see all of them come swimming up...there are dozens of them!!

“Fantastic Staff”
Reviewed 23 August 2013 via mobile

We visited the Nature Center numerous times during our stay at the Omni. Bike Tour- fun and scenic bike ride through gorgeous homes ended at a spectacular marshy area where fiddler crabs and birds can be seen. Junior Naturalist- our 9 year old spent 3 hours shadowing nature center staff- he learned about all the animals on hand and fed and held many of them. Christina on staff was fantastic! Laura and Levi were great too. Kayak trip- my husband and son shared a tandem kayak at Walkers Landing. They saw birds, jellyfish and the naturalist rescued 3 baby raccoons during their trip. We cannot say enough good things about the staff and their knowledge of the area. Thank you for really being the highlight of our trip!

“An unexpected surprise!”
Reviewed 28 March 2013 via mobile

Thought this would be too young for our kids but it was fun for everyone! We watched tortoises eat a blueberry salad, talked to the parrot, fed the turtles off the outdoor pond, petted a long eared bunny and learned a lot about the local environment . Staff was exceptionally informed and friendly.
