“Amazing Beach”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

Lovely beach - lots of families here. It is much more peaceful then South Beach.
Nice shallow water. $10 for an umbrella and $7 for a sun lounger. The beach is just over an 1 mile.
As I was walking past the trees i heard rustling and two lizards run past me.
Lovely place to visit.

“Awesome beach”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We went on a Sunday...it was busy, many people grilling. The bathrooms were very convenient and clean with showers. With 3 young kids under 7, the water was much calmer than Miami Beach...South Beach. There were rentals for chairs and umbrellas, kayaks, water bikes of different size options. The prices seemed reasonable.

“Beautiful place to watch the sunset”
Reviewed 3 May 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed a lovely evening here with a cool box picnic to enjoy the sunset over Miami. You could easily spend a very lovely full day here. Firstly there's the beach with loungers and beautiful soft sand. Then the park itself where you can hire bikes, fish and walk. Or just sit and enjoy the views like we did! There are shaded areas with BBQ facilities free to use. Plenty of bathrooms and did I mention the views?! We'll definitely go back when we visit Miami. The park staff were really friendly too - when we paid our fee to get in the ranger gave us a map and a tip on which exit to use for the best beach, and the rangers patrolling were very friendly too. No alcohol allowed in the park, which the rangers strictly enforce. Definitely worth the trip out.

“Just like any other beach park”
Reviewed 2 May 2014 via mobile

Nothing exciting about it. It is a very normal park with beach, bbq areas, a light house, fishing areas and walking trails. What i felt that they need to gave some shade areas at the beach since not everyone likes to get tanned or get in water. Some of us just want to enjoy seeing the water n munching away. We spent just half day as it was unbearable hot. The cafe is pretty expensive so the best bet would be to carry your own food. We tried fish and chips which was just ok. Drive to the park is beautiful, esp the bridges!

“It's overrated”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

It's ok and you can see the lighthouse too but the beaches are not the best especially if you have to park in the beginning (zone A). The lighthouse is not very tall. No Name Harbour it's worthwile to spend the end of the afternoon though. The picnic area is nice though but if you want just beach you can go to Crandon Beach without paying and get a nicer beach.
