We chose Dolphin Plus because of Tripadvisor and the reviews saying was a personal experience and it was. Our daughter age 13 was the one swimming but we all went to a briefing before the swim in a group of about 20 people. Sarah, an Australian intern gave us a half hour, really interesting talk about the dolphins and what to expect from the swim. ( we booked the structured swim) Her enthusiasm was wonderful and really infectious and her love of her job was really great to see.
Then the great part was that we were split into smaller groups and our daughter got to swim alone with two dolphins.....Fiji and Dinghey were their names. The look on her face was priceless as the trainers ( who obviously loved their dolphins) worked their way through a series of exercises where she got to stroke the dolphins, kiss them, doing a foot push/ superhero ( where 2 dolphins push you forwards by your feet) plus loads more. There was no rush and at times the dolphins swam off ( one to check on her baby) and then came back again to continue. The whole experience really was one of a lifetime. She then joined the trainers on deck while a second group worked through the same exercises. The trainers were constantly talking to her and feeding her snippets of info about the dolphins which she loved.
We were lucky enough to be close by watching the whole experience and taking some wonderful photos and videos. We did however buy the photo packages as they had managed to get some great pics.
You have to do this once in your life and this is defintately the place to do it.
