Our family just discovered this beautiful resort and stayed in the Sunset Bungalow. We could not believe our eyes when we saw how beautiful the property was. The exceptionally friendly management staff was onsite, checking on all of the guests frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. The maintenance man was friendly to my kids and we were made to feel as if we were at home. The rooms are beautifully furnished far beyond anything I imagined it would be. Paddle boards and kayaks were available at no additional cost to us and we paddled next door to get a peak at the dolphins while the sun was setting. We have already told many of our friends about the Largo resort and highly recommend this spot for a comfortable, quiet, family friendly getaway. We most certainly will be going back......NEXT WEEK!

I just read a couple of bad reviews on here, and I am wondering if these people were even at the same place? Yes, Largo resort is on the highway - Florida Keys is mostly on the highway. It is completely gated and private, with a driveway surrounded by lush greenery that goes right down to the water.
We spent five wonderful days at Largo Resort. We celebrated our daughter’s 21st while we were there, to say they went above and beyond for us, is an understatement. Every person working at the resort was really lovely. Victor gave us great local knowledge and tips on where to go! We had a minor issue with our first room - Sabrina upgraded us to the most amazing house! She completely overcompensated for such a minor issue, but it made the trip even more idyllic. The housekeeping staff went to great lengths decorating my daughter’s room to wish her a happy 21st. Our younger kids had a blast in the pool, we met some new friends and had barbecues by the pool. We had encounters with the biggest (friendly!!) iguanas I’ve ever seen! Our room view was like a postcard. There are complimentary paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks and pool toys available on site, as well as the use of the Weber grill - we used them all several times. The location is excellent, right next to Dolphins Plus and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, as well as restaurants supermarkets etc.
The finishes in every room are very high end, the attention to detail is meticulous, from the towels to the toiletries, the beds and bedding - everything feels luxurious.
Overall, I cannot rate this place enough. We will most definitely be back .. if you’re going to Florida Keys - go here - you will be glad you did!!

It was an amazing location. Seemed like a sanctuary. Fantastic places, amazing beds!!
Would be the best place to either write a book or go with group of friends. If you rent the big house, there are cooking facilities! Supplies offered for pool and fun

Twelve of us just returned from Largo Resort last week. (June 10, 2018) We rented out the whole property which included the 5000 sq. foot lodge and the six bungalows. THE PROPERTY IS SPECTACULAR! The finishes in the main house are incredible - lots of detail went into the construction. The bungalows are clean and perfect for 2-4 guests. (Each has 2 bathrooms and 2 beds) The most AMAZING PART OF THE PROPERTY IS THE POOL AND OCEAN VIEWS! POOL IS HUGE AND HAS AMAZING VIEWS! We did two boat excursions, and the boats picked us up directly from our pier. Grocery store is right down the street and easy to drive / Uber to. We had the whole resort to ourselves and grilled most of our meals by the pool. Special thanks to Victor and Sabrina. (grounds keeper / owner) Victor was awesome at cleaning up after us and for making recommendations about night life and excursions. Sabrina, was a great host and communicated perfectly with me and had everything set up for our arrival. She also did an excellent job helping us book our excursions.
WE WILL BE BACK -HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you're looking for an all-inclusive resort full of waiters, this place is not for you, but if you are looking for a little bit of quiet paradise on Key Largo it is perfect.

We booked a standard bungalow, it had two large beds (1 king size and 1 queen size), both very comfortable, and two bathrooms with nich showers. A small fridge and coffee maker (Nespresso) is also included.

The resort does not include any bar, restaurant or spa but does have a nice small pool, complementary paddle boards and kayaks as well as a very nice pier from which we saw great sunsets and dauphins every afternoon. You will faintly hear the highway when around the pool or on the pier, but since you're on the Keys, I doubt there's any outdoor place on which you can't hear this,

We had a late check in and received all the instructions by email as all the staff would be gone, the next morning someone came to see us around 11 am to ensure that we had all we needed. Some people were on-site during the day to care about the property as well as some administrative staff in case we needed any help; everybody was very nice and gave us the quiet privacy we had hoped for.

If you'll share the room with another couple, the prices are low for what it is. We preferred having the room for us alone which made it a bit pricier, we didn't regret anything about this choice!
