“It was an awesome experience!”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our glass bottom boat experience. Regina, the bartender/tour guide was exceptional! We saw a lot of sea turtles and a variety of fish. It was definitely worth the money. I suggest riding at the front of the boat on the way out.

“Worth your time”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

Roughly $35 each for approx 2 hour trip to Molasses coral reef... Only living reef in continental us. We had found a Groupon for 2 for one... Be sure to mention that to the reservations before purchase.

It is comfortable and a pleasant trip out to the reef. The crew areb nice and informative. We were on the ref for about 30 minutes and that was awesome. We learned a lot.

While going slow the boat trends to rock.... We list a few to the sea sick god. The trip back was quick and air conditioned. Worth the trip once.

“Great Half Day Trip”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We planned a last minute trip out to Key Largo for Memorial Day. We were driving from Fort Lauderdale so the drive was about 2 hours. We reserved the 10 am trip since we did not want to catch the horrible traffic leaving Key West. I was very glad that the ladies that worked there informed us of this prior to our trip. It was about a 45 minute boat ride to Molasses Reef. It was a great and enjoyable boat ride. There were only about 20 people on the boat so we had plenty of seats and places to enjoy it the beautiful scenery. Before heading out to sea we had to go through a canal with beautiful properties to see. On the lower deck there was an air conditioned room where the glass bottom was at. It also had an upstairs deck that sold drinks and food. It was not hot at outside since the boat moved pretty fast. There was also a shaded area upstairs. The place was clean and so were the restrooms. Once we got out to the reef we saw all the animals. My sister saw 2 sea turtles which I missed. It was a great experience to see all the beautiful coral and the living organisms that live off of it. The amount of time spent on the reef was perfect for me at least. We were able to see a good amount of sea life with different types of fishes. I would definitely come back to visit again!

“Great trip”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

This was a really good boat trip out to a natural coral reef. It had a glass bottom so got to see some really interesting sea life. The guy on the boat was really knowledgeable aswell. I managed to get groupon tickets for this so only paid $15 per person so it was a really good deal.

“Enjoyable Trip”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

If you're considering this trip keep in mind it's a boat trip on the ocean. There are waves, even a good day. So if you get seasick, don't go! We had a very nice trip out to the reef on a relatively calm day. Interesting to see the reef and started worrying about dying coral reefs... Seating was limited unless you wanted to sit inside. The deck up top was empty except for about six seats so that might be an issue if you can't stand for too long. I would also eat first so that you don't have to buy packaged snacks. All in all, worth the money.
