I am in resort now. Check-in was fine they gave us a room overlooking the road. I did request king bed booked back in Feb never got one. I asked if we could have view of marina which we got.
Please rem it's not a 5 star hotel.
It's satisfactory for a few nights, I am a travel agent from the Uk, it is cheap and cheerful for a quick stay. But does need a lot more cleaning in public areas.
No plug in bathroom.tv cabinet has to stay shut as door swings open bathroom has whirlpool but is shabby.

Room tip: Ask for a marina view room

Nice room overlooking the harbour, room large but needs updating. Sofa in room had big hole in arm. Pool area nice and easy access to Skippers Restaraunt next door. Have to sign out towels for the pool (never before) and sign in again, sign a form to say you will return door keycards or be charged $5 (never before). Limited parking on site but can use Skippers.

I can't recommend this kind of hotel. We stayed there for 2 days on our round trip. The room wasn't really clean, a lot of facilities weren't working e.g. the lamp, the main light switch. We talked several times to the hotel staff but nothing happened. The internet wasn't working...after our complaint, nothing happened. The staff at the registration when we checked out wasn't friendly. And she didn't understand English ...

My wife and I stayed there after returning from a cruise that sailed from Fort Lauderdale. Upon our arrival we were greeted and welcomed in a friendly way by Janette at reception who did our check-in in a prompt and efficient way. The room was found to be clean, tidy and very spacious and overlooking the marina. It had a kitchen that was equipped with a fridge, microwave & coffee station. It also had TV’s in the lounge & bedroom and the hotel was conveniently situated within easy walking distance to the departure points of the African Queen & Glass bottom boats that we had made bookings on. There were some nice restaurants close by like Sharkey’s and Skippers. The breakfast that the hotel provided had a good variety in a pleasant atmosphere with the outside seating overlooking the marina. This is a hotel that I would gladly recommend to friends and colleagues and were sorry that we could not stay longer.
Our only negative experience was getting there. Upon disembarkation at the Fort Lauderdale Cruise terminal we enquired about transport to Key Largo. An individual who appeared to organize transport informed us that they could take us there with a Yellow cab and calculated the cost at about $220. He then spoke to a cab driver who agreed to take us there who also offered to give us some discount on that price.
Upon reaching our destination he solicited MORE money from us by telling us that he had gone far out of his way. Eventually he was happy with $250. Before returning to Miami we discovered Keys Shuttle who picked us up at our hotel and only charged $80 for a very comfortable ride to Miami.

Room tip: Rooms on the upper level overlooking the marina are very nice.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel.

Great location, accommodating staff and eating facility nearby. The room was an upgrade overlooking the marina. Quiet and clean. Everything close by to visit and tour.

Great experience!
