“Taste of the keys”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

Outdoors and hot but worth the wait. Only cook tells it like it is but don't try to talk to her because the fans are noisy and keeping her cool, the fries are cooking in the fryer and she is focused on getting your order right. They were out of the conch fritters but everything else we had was tasty. The sauce on the fish tacos is homemade and finger licking good! Fries were plentiful and she even gave us two free smoothies because we had to wait behind a large group.

Order at the counter then pay in the shop inside and look around while you wait. Bathroom is clean but small and be sure to try the sugar scrub then buy some in the store to take a scent of the keys back with you. We were too stuffed to try the key lime pie so will just have to come back!

“Customer service & great pie!!”

The Key Lime Pie was amazing! It had just enough tartness but not too much. The texture of the pie was heavenly. I will for sure be buying my Key Lime Pies from here in the future!!

“Food and Fun”

This is a little café and gift shop combo. Order outside, pay inside and look around while you're waiting...really cute gifts and "yardart" and a great for picture taking. We ordered the conch fritter special, and it was as good as I remember as a kid growing up locally. Our party also had the fish sandwich, and a key lime smoothie (both two thumbs up). We ordered a whole Key Lime Pie and it was cold and delicious. Outdoor dining on picnic tables with fans to keep you cool.

“Great little place you might miss if you weren't looking for it...”

We saw the listing for Key Lime Cafe on TripAdvisor and decided to stop for lunch. Great atmosphere and very friendly people. They were busy when we got there and they apologized for the wait and warned that their fish shipment was late and they wouldn't have any for about an hour. Not having the extra time, we ordered a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich (and smoothies and key lime pie). They kept us updated on how much longer the food would take and, again, were very friendly. The sandwiches were huge, the smoothies very good and the key lime pie was excellent.
