We stayed for 14 days. Most of the time we had a kitchenette. The utensils, cookware, etc were adequate. I was more interested in the wonderful hammocks, beach side chairs and swimming in the bay. We are already looking ahead to our next trip and we are planning on staying there.

It was our pleasure to have you as our guest. We've updated the kitchen plates, pots and pans. We've also added some mixing bowls to all the kitchens. Feel free to email me henry@seafarerkeylargo.com any suggestions that would make the kitchen more functional. Thank you again and look forward to seeing you again.

We were looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to stay for a short trip to the Keys that would primarily be a place to sleep. Prices in Key West were astronomical and so we looked in the upper Keys and decided Key Largo would be a good base. Prices in Key Largo were still extremely high, especially when just looking for a place to sleep. We stumbled across some scary reviews of cheaper hotels/motels and decided to try our luck with the Seafarer.

We were reviewing hotels on TripAdvisor, but we ended up calling the Seafarer directly to book our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and even gave us a bit of a deal for booking our two night stay. They even said we could swing by early and if our room was ready, we could check in before 3pm.

The room was standard: queen bed, flat screen tv, microwave, fridge, dresser and night stand. The shower head was not built for tall people (hit me in the chest) but I've had that issue at a lot of hotels. The air conditioner was rather loud, but again, something to be expected in a small space. Overall the room was clean and tidy and suited our needs as a place to crash while sight seeing the keys. The room is lacking an alarm clock, so you'll need to use your phone.

The resort itself was a bit of a surprise, a cluster of buildings nestled among some trees with a nice beach/dock area with picnic tables and hammocks for personal use. They also have paddle boarding and kayaks for patrons. Road noise is very minimal.

Overall, if you're looking for a clean place to crash that has some bonus amenities, the Seafarer is a great option!

Clean room, great service. Price We had room 16, which is actually part of the main office building. It is quite small, and the bathroom only has a "half ceiling" (slanted). There's a small beach with a small dock, both of which were a nice surprise for such a small property. If you're simply looking for a clean place to sleep with great service, this is the place. I'd stay here again.

This was our first visit to Seafarer. We found it on line and the Trip Adviser reviews were good so we decided to check it out. We were thrilled with the place! The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean, the beach area is great! The staff could not be any nicer.
This is truly "Old Florida" Keys lodging, in a good way. It is also close to many restaurants, some within walking distance. We will be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 4. From the tiki hut in front of our room we had a view of the water. I would r...

I was a little weary of staying at a small resort in the Keys, but after checking in and seeing the resort my expectations were blown away!!! Nice clean rooms, they clean the entire resort area daily, great location for diving or just hanging out in the upper keys. I think the best thing about this resort was the staff!!! They were just Awesome.

I will stay here again when I am in Key Largo

Room Tip: I enjoyed the bonefish room.

Staff very tentative to our needs. Obviously a work in progress. Good seeing the efforts of the owner and staff makes for an enjoyable stay. We will plan on coming here again rates are very reasonable location is close to needs yet one can enjoy a quiet atmosphere. The structures are not new yet very comfortable clean and being improved daily. We will bring our children and gran children. Nice little beach area for kids.

This hotel was great..the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The rooms very clean. Kayaks free to use..sunset beautiful. Loved all the hammocks and lite tiki torches. Felt comfortable letting my kids run free to collect coconuts and pay on the beach.
