We visited this inn for one night when visiting the keys while down in Miami for a convention. We were so delighted to break away to the quaint and calming surroundings of this inn! It is also close enough to many good eats and stores if you need anything. It appears that it is very well kept for a place that probably has been there for some time. It's not a beach resort. You cannot expect to swim in the bay because of the rocks and vegetation but there are paddle boards and kayaks provided and a great heated pool to unwind and cool off in. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Each room seems to have a view of the bay. It's a small inn so it's not crowded which is a plus! The view of the bay and the sunsets are gorgeous. The staff are very courteous and always strive to please their guests. Anyone who visits this place will not be disappointed!

We arrived from NYC on the 16 Feb 2014. NYC was and in the depths of another snow storm. This is a place you come to sit on a hammock or beach chair and enjoy the sun! You can bring your own snacks and drink. Their is a small frig and microwave in most of the hotel rooms. There are plenty of local places to eat. There pool is just right for the amount of people that stay here.

When we drove up to the Coconut Palm we were a little worried, but as soon as we got to the water side it was just what the Chicago winter ordered. Dee Dee (sp?) and Z were friendly and had several great tips for sights and food. It is picturesque, peaceful & old Florida. The rooms are clean and have everything you would need. While not luxurious they were comfortable and the showers had all the water pressure you could want. The grounds were impeccably maintained and featured Adirondack chairs, hammocks and covered sitting areas. The pool serves its purpose. It was clean and refreshing. There are some kayaks and paddle boards which we used every day, sometimes two times a day. This was great fun! I wish there were a few more paddle boards, a new favorite activity. The wireless is spotty if you are looking for that. Sitting on the pier at sunset and early morning were highlights. We will be back.

We was really positively surprised when we entered this small hidden beautiful place. Got a HUGE room upstairs with the most wonderful view and a nice balcony at our own. Would for sure recommend this place. Make sure to take time to borrow a SUP or kano, its soooo nice to take a small trip around in the bay :-)
