Location: Very central to restaurants and activities. Right on the ocean, however there is no beach. Just a kayak entrance that is rocky.

Facilities: Very nice pool area with lounge chairs and tables/umbrellas. Marina access. The tower is under-going some renovations right now so it is not that pretty to look at...a lot of orange spray paint markings all over. Did not visit the lagoon but it is for swimming, snorkeling, or kayaking.

Unit 405: Very comfortable 2 BR condo with everything we needed between 2 families that stayed there. The furniture is very comfortable and there were lots of good sized beds for us. BED1: Master w/ bath, queen bed, day bed. BED2: Double bed and twin bunk beds.

Included laundry use, full kitchen, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes, and flat screen TVs w/DVD.

We had a great time there and were very close to Ocean Divers, which we went out with for 2 days.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kawama Yacht Club. Me, my husband, my 5 year old and two 15 year olds had a wonderful vacation. Everyone had fun and found many things to do. We stayed in the tower. The room was very clean and stocked with supplies. Norman was extremely helpful and welcoming. He was very nice on the phone when I called to ask questions and he was also very nice and helpful when we got to Key Largo. He let my husband borrow a fishing pole and offered to lend the kids some swimming gear. Everything was as Norman said it would be when we got there. All and all we had a great time. We would highly recommend this vacation spot. Thanks Norman!!

We stayed a week at R3 in Kawama Yacht Club and had a really wonderful time. No problems at all.. Norman Wartman is a really fun and nice man. He gave us a great tour and even took us to see the dolphins at Dolphins Plus. Our grandson loved it. Swam every day in the salt water lagoon and pool. Both were really nice. Our stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. There should be no fear in renting a unit from Norman Wartman. We had everything we needed for a funfilled week. Our unit had a really big kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. We had 4 screened porches and 3 bedroom and 2 baths. It was all the comforts of home. Thanks Norman for a great place to visit and we will be back before long!!!! Penny, John & Caleb

Recently stayed at unit J8. Not fancy but certainly comfortable, and we had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc.) The big plus was that it was pet friendly. Another plus was 3 full baths, with showers on each floor, which was helpful for a group of 6 after a long days out on the water. The first floor accommodations were kind of like a small apartment and the kids loved hanging out down there in the evenings.
The pool and the lagoon were fun for the kids. Though we don't fish, it looked like those who were fishing had a great locations and facilities to do so. The only problem we encountered was at the marina - we brought our boat down with us and there is a boat ramp, but the ramp is only really functional near high tide. As a result, we were forced to rent a slip a number of times because we could not get our boat out of the water on the ramp because it was not high tide when we got back from our snorkeling and diving trips. Nevertheless, the whole experience was very good and we had a great time.

This was the second time my boyfriend and I along with some friends rented from Norman and let me tell you, he is the MAN! Our unit was fully stocked with towels, kayak padles, condiments in the fridge, ice cold AC (for those summer nights), a BBQ, and the decor was truly welcoming. The pool was literally right outside our door and we were also provided with a golf cart to drive to the beach area not even 2 minutes walking distance with the complex! Norman also provided us with 3 kayaks!! This was honestly the best idea for our Memorial Day weekend with our friends and we will definitely be renting from Norman again!! Trust me you will not regret it!!

My brothers and cousins just got back from a trip to Key Largo May 7th 2013. Weather was hot and humid, but we had a great time. The unit was really nice with everything stocked. This is a condomium complex so the unit had a full kitchen, four outdoor patio/balconies, washer and dryer and 3 bedrooms plus a loft and sleeper sofa in the living room. It was equipped with kayaks, snorkels, masks and fins, a golf cart and a couple of bikes and tennis racquets and tennis balls for use at the complex tennis courts. We had a pool right outside of our unit. This complex also has a marina and a salt water lagoon that you can snorkel and swim in. We rented from Norman Wartman, who was very funny and very helpful. Gave us lots of tips for places to eat and things to do around the keys. I have enclosed pictures of the unit and the grounds surrounding the unit. Hope this is helpful.

Our first trip to the keys was most enjoyable by my family of 4 (kids 8 and 5). The Kawama Yacht club is conveniently located in Key Largo minutes from Pannekamp State Park and countless other activities. The Yacht Club itself is a fantastic property with multiple pools, beach, and the best part, a snorkeling pond stocked with large ocean fish. Everyone we met at the KYC was very friendly and helpful. Most of our favorite activities and restaurants came from talking to KYC owners and guests. We will absolutely return to the Kawama Yacht Club.
