We stayed her for 5 nights in February and the house is nothing short of incredible! 2 beautiful bedrooms, 2 Murphy beds & 4 full baths (1 of which is outdoors). The outdoor gazebo has everything you need for a perfect Keys getaway - a massive grill, sink, fridge & ice maker! A wonderful sitting area to catch some sun or watch the countless types of marine life that pass by everyday. During our stay we spotted Mangrove snapper, Mullet, barracuda, two nurse sharks & best of all - manatees!!! We saw 4-5 different manatees throughout our stay, most notably a mother & calf! The home comes with 2 kayaks which we used almost everyday. The location is great - close to many restaurants & bars; there is also a Publix & liquor store about 3 miles North of the home. Gladys was quick to respond to any questions we had and we very much look forward to staying here again in the future!
We absolutely loved staying in this rental - the highlight of our honeymoon, we only wish we could have stayed an extra week!
The location is convenient, area is nice and quiet but only a 5 mins drive from loads of resteraunts and things to do.
We took the kayaks out into the bay and saw a family of manatees! Highlight of the trip!!
The BBQ and covered area in the garden is perfect for lazy afternoons eating great food and watching the world (or the iguanas) go by!
Perfect stay! Our party included my husband, our two adult daughters and me and the cottage was the perfect size. We spent almost every morning and evening by the canal on the deck. Gladys was very generous and was quick to answer any questions I had prior to our arrival. Since we were going to be there over Christmas she was even so sweet as to leave a gift for us and also brought over her own serving platter, utensils and roasting pan for our use when I told her I was wanting to make a big Christmas meal. The location is quiet and close to many shops and restaurants. We will definitely book this place again and can't wait to return!
This place was very neat and clean. Had everything we needed and located in a quiet dead end. Plenty of towels and linens
Just a great place to hang your hat and kick back. Water front tranquility. Like having an aquarium and tropical ecosystem as your back yard, lizards included, then this is for you. Amenities are top notch
Quiet neighborhood with an ocean breeze and close to grocery, post office or liquor store. Advise anyone to stop at the key largo visitors center and talk with big Larry he'll set you up with info and super cool guy to boot.
Beautiful location and it felt like we were home. Gladys even provided beach towels (which we forgot) and throw blankets for watching TV. Every little detail was taken care of. The outside gazebo over looks the canal with Mangrove trees on the other side; such a pretty setting. The neighbors we met were friendly and the quiet of the neighborhood a relief. We are already planning a return trip next year!
Would strongly recommend for meals The Fish House, The Conch House and Mrs. Macs. Also, snorkeling at Pennkamp State Park. All of these are within five miles of the home.
