Beautiful hotel, wonderful rooms, excellent quality. Pool areas are just lovely and secluded and private. Staff friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the cost of drinks is expensive. We tended to go next door to the mart and buy drinks and drink them by the pool. The other problem is the hotel doesn't serve food in the evening, which forces you to go out.

We requested a water view room and got an absolutely wonderful suite. We had to pay additional money for it, but it was well worth it. We were able to see the pier (although it was very small) and the Gulf of Mexico. Also, the rooms were very spacious, and we had a great balcony overlooking the water. The staff was top notch. They helped us out with every question we had and even helped out a number of us who waited (which seemed like forever!) for taxis--they offered to transport us downtown so we wouldn't miss dinner cruises and restaurant reservations. The only negatives were the views of the power lines in the Gulf and a not-so-great menu at their restaurant. Overall, however, we'd say that it's a great resort to stay at.

Room Tip: Go to their site and check out all of their rooms and request a water view because some of the rooms are facing other rooms and/or parking lots.

This is a first class hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and plenty of room for guests to lounge. Rooms are spacious, clean and beds are very comfortable. Beach area provided a great view for beautiful sunsets.

This place is amazing from the staff, rooms to the beautiful grounds. Only place I would stay when going back to the Key West. If staying there go down to the Blue Cafe and have Dean make you a cocktail great Mojito's and one of their specialities a Chi-Chi, but what make them even better is the great service you receive from the staff. It's only a 10 minute cab ride to downtown and all the action. Outstanding resort!!!

We have mixed impressions. The accommodations were beautiful on a moderately pretty water-front venue. The view of the Gulf is compromised by high-tension power lines, but there is an attempt to provide a very minimal pier (no water access) to watch the sunsets. The big advantage for us was how quiet the accommodations were, away from downtown. There is a price to pay for that, however.

We had stupidly not called ahead to see if there were rooms available for our day-early arrival ahead of our original reservation (there weren't), but they graciously upgraded us upon arrival the following day to a beautiful suite that was a bit of an overkill for the two of us.

Parking (no numbered assignments) is not terribly convenient and a trek to our room, particularly when we had to get a large suitcase up very steep stairs to our suite at the extreme end of the lot, There is no shuttle into town, as there is with other outlying accommodations, so when returning from an evening drive into town, one may be faced with parking in the public Walgreen parking lot next door. A taxi is $15 each way... a last resort when parking in town is scarce.

There were several other little things, like no TV listings, no map of where the ice machines were located, and we were told to buy bottled water at Walgreens, not exactly what you might expect from rooms at any price.

The staff of the Tiki Bar were the best, friendly and accommodating.

And to repeat, our suite was beautifully appointed and could easily accommodate a family of four.
.

Room Tip: Upper suites have steep stairs but very nice if you are young. Gulf-side suites have only a mediocre view, if you are accustomed to unobstructed ocean vistas.
