Beautiful hotel, we couldn't recommend this place enough.
Modern spotless furnishings with lovely swimming pools and bar.
Our only negative points would be that the bar closed at 7pm and the last bus to the beach was at 4pm! Would be great if they could operate into the evening!

Let me just say that this was my first time visiting Key West. The Parrot Key resort went above and beyond my expectations! Beds were super comfy, room was spacious. There were 3 flat screen TVS total in our suite, a mini fridge, microwave, 2 hair dryers! and EXCELLENT room service! Anything we asked for (extra toilet paper, pool/shower towels, cups etc.) was immediately taken care of. I loved the view of our balcony and the private beachy area in the back (it has a private little pier for watching the sunset!)...The front desk was VERY friendly and welcoming. The location of parrot key is ideal and right next door to a Walgreens and across from a shopping center. I will without a doubt stay here again and recommend it to everyone I know! Please consider this place as your getaway when visiting Key West, you wont be disappointed!

Parrot Key Hotel embodies all of Key West. The white wooden rooms, white picket fences, carribean colors, and the beautiful folliage, beach front, were all spectacular. We enjoyed the art work around the pools and there was always a quiet pool to be found. The Tikki Bar was a quick spot for breakfast and served refreshing drinks in the afternoon sun. We will return.

My husband and I booked this hotel for our anniversary. We wanted to go somewhere waterfront where we wouldn't have to leave to go to the beach. The photos of the waterfront rooms appeared to fit the bill. When we got here, the view from our room was a little stretch of water with a bunch of trees and buildings on the other side... For how much we paid we would've been better served to have gone to another hotel that has a real beach. The room was nice and clean. As it was we ended up going to area beaches even though that was what we were trying to avoid. We did have to park in a secondary lot and carry everything in through a muddy ditch.

The rooms are perfect. Parrot key seems like something out of a dream. Lots of privacy and very clean. The hotel has more of a townhouse feel than a hotel. Lots of trees and flowers to look at. Our room had a walk out patio to beach sand, over looking the water. The staff was helpful and prices were reasonable. Thanks for a perfect stay!

We were very hesitant when we were turning into the property. It sits off of a very busy main street. However, once you turn into the property itself, it is truly like a Caribbean resort. Absolutely stunning! The staff was amazing. We were in a two bedroom/2 bath villa and it was perfect. There were two balconies and three floors! Our villa was clean as were the grounds. I marveled at how they could keep everything so white...lol. The staff called taxis for us each and every time that we asked them too and we never waited for more than 5 minutes. I do wish that there were more dining options. I spent $20 one morning on a less than mediocre egg wrap and a cup of orange juice. There is a jewish deli across the street that has really good coffee. They serve breakfast, lunch and typical deli items. All in all. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.

Room Tip: Water view rooms overlook a canal and while it was nice, I wouldn't think that it'd be worth...

My wife and I stayed at this resort for five days in mid June 2014. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything was exactly as pictured on their web site. It included central air with a thermostat you could adjust. Also a mini-mini fridge, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were lushly landscaped and the four salt water swimming pools were great!

We had a second floor King suite with an ocean view. If you were on the first floor your view would be limited by the vegetation growing at the waters edge but you would be walking out of the room onto a strip of white sand beach with chairs and umbrellas including a "sunset pier". I use the term beach loosely because it does not extend into the water. It is not intended to go swimming there. Key West is all rocky with no natural beaches. They are all man made.

The cafe was nice. Our package included breakfast vouchers so we ate there at least once per day. The food on average was good but not great. The waffle was very good and my wife liked the omelets and scrambled eggs. I also like the ceaser's salad and the fruit plate. The wraps offered for breakfast or lunch were just OK but that may be just me. The prices were a little high but that is to be expected at a resort like this. It was offset by the atmosphere. You could go across the street to a sports bar that I will not name and get an excellent hamburger in an over cooled, noisy, raucous, environment while sitting on a hard wooden chair for $12.00 or get an excellent hamburger for $15.00 in lush surroundings while sitting on a comfortable, padded chair listening to soft music. Take your pick.

The parking is a little limited but if the lot is full you can park in the Walgreens lot next door in the designated areas. You would not know it was that close as it is hidden by foliage but it sure is convenient to have it that nearby if you need something.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was the internet access. The WiFi coverage was excellent with a strong signal everywhere but the internet response varied from excellent to near standstill. Not that big of a deal as I was not there to surf the internet.

I am giving a five star rating on the strength of the basics. A clean comfortable room that was exactly as advertised.

Room Tip: Look at the map on the web site.
