“Small, but Informative”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

The Shipwreck Museum Tour sheds light on the importance of shipwreck salvaging on the early economy of Key West. There are many interesting artifacts to be seen, and the presentation is well done.

“Fun Visit in Key West”
Reviewed 29 June 2014

My family and I enjoyed the visit to the shipwreck museum overall. The guides in character and costume were great and really played the part. They were a highlight. The museum is VERY well done, but just with limited items on display. Another highlight was the tower you can climb to get an amazing view of the harbor and duval street.

“Combo tickets save money”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

This is worth seeing, with its tour. Helps explain the history of the town which is great. Staff did a very good job with the presentation, and the downstairs movie is worth it. I'd definitely suggest a combo ticket as none of these places take much time to see. Young children wouldn't find anything interesting here, I think it's kind of for 7 or 8 years and up. Good tower view.

“Good place to get out of the sun for a little while”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Interesting place to see. There is a lot of history with shipwrecks around the Keys, and it is well represented here. Very good collection of treasures that have been recovered over the years. Climbing the tower and seeing the view of Key West from the top is absolutely breathtaking.

“Interesting and well done museum”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

We enjoyed the shipwreck museum, it was very interesting to hear about the shipwreck trade from the guide who did a great job in character and in costume. The museum was well done, and well decorated. We also enjoyed climbing the stairs to the top to see the awesome view of Key West. Highly recommend!
