Our experience was fabulous from the time we checked in until we regretfully had to leave a few days later. The location is good, rooms are fabulous, pool is soooo relaxing and beautiful..and the guest service was the BEST! Every staff member was friendly, helpful, and very, very pleasant. We love KW and visit every summer... This is our new favorite home away from home.

Loved staying here! We found this by accident and glad that they had a room for us.
It was only for one night but it re-charged our “batteries” and we had a wonderful, relaxing time.
Our room was ready early so we were able to move in as soon as we arrived, parking was convenient, Bob and Juan were wonderful.
A short walk to everything, we did the Keys tourist sights, came back and lounged by the pool walked over to see the Mallory Square festivities and then we dined at the Marquesa Cafe. When finished we walked 3 steps into the front lobby of the hotel.
The room was appointed nicely, it was simple yet elegant and had everything one could need. The next trip to the Keys will bring us right back to the Marquesa - only next time for a longer stay!

While I have not stayed in any other hotel in Kay West, I can not imagine any better one than the Marquesa. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was attentive. Housekeeping was accommodating. The pool setting is gorgeous.
The location is perfect: one block from Duval street and a 10 minute walk from Mallory Square. Its just the place for a romantic get away. While we were in Key West to tour the town, the Marquesa was so pleasing, we were drawn back to spend time just enjoying it.

Room Tip: Try breakfast at the pool or on your porch or balcony.

Here for 3 nights, sadly wished it had been more. Beautifully restored wooden clapperboard style building. We had a junior suite, tastefully decorated, large bathroom with twin sinks and a shady secluded porch where we are breakfast every morning.

The inner leafy courtyard houses two small swimming pools and sun beds and felt so tranquil.

The hotels in an excellent location, a really quiet part of town But only two blocks from Duval street where it all happens. Loads of restaurants and bars.

We received excellent service from David who arranged tickets for a visit to Dry Tortugas at the last minute.

Loved this hotel, would love to return some day in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: Room 6, shady secluded porch looking towards the pool area, don't have to go through the hotel...

I have stayed in more than a few B&B's over the years, and many "historic" hotels, a lot of those hotels rely upon their architectural beauty and charm more than the real convenience of the facilities. I was suitably impressed by not only the hotel itself, which is beautiful, but also the superb location- within easy walking distance to Duval Street, the Customs House, and more bars, restaurants and galleries than you could ever hope to visit in a month of weekends. The staff was always helpful- offering hints for places to visit that were local hangouts- its hard not to be stuck in tourist traps in Key West. On a hot July weekend the pool was the perfect place to cool down. Clean, nice location and reasonable price- go for the junior suite if you get a chance- these are newer rooms and are really nicely decorated and exceedingly comfortable. Definitely going to stay again!

Room Tip: Go for the junior suite- worth every penny!

Booked a standard room through tripadvisor / Expedia. One of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in any where. All of the small details made the difference. We will be back, will plan to stay in one of the pool side rooms next time. Thanks for the first class stay. We will stay longer the next time.

The property is absolutely striking: A beautiful garden containing two pools and a small waterfall surrounded by guest rooms. A quintessential Key West feel. We stayed in room 23 (see photos), a comfortable and fresh junior suite with an incredible view of the property. The atmosphere is tranquil and adult-minded. This is not a chaotic, water-noodle-filled resort. It's a beautiful and serene oasis just blocks from the best of Key West. The staff were great and you won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that opens to the pool area. The very best of these rooms, in my opinion, were 23 &a...
