“Excellent for couples”

We stayed in cottage 3, which was nicely private and quiet. The continental breakfast was good. Very clean, recently renovated, room turnover was timely.
Parking is at a premium, don't give up your space once you are in it.
WiFi does not really reach the far end of the property, you may need to go to the pool to get reception.

We are so glad you loved the perfect location, nice clean rooms, and complimentary continental breakfast and parking we offer at the Key Lime Inn. Wireless internet access has always been a challenge inside some of the historic guestrooms, but we're working on it! We have hired a company that assures us all rooms will be able to receive WiFi by this November. We're sure hoping they can do it before your next visit to our island.

Thank you for being our guest.

Traveling as a young couple, we just had a perfect 3 night stay at the Key Lime Inn (March 4-7). If we hadn't had to travel to our next destination, we would have prolonged our stay at the Key Lime Inn. It be said that we're used to quite high standards (4-5 star catagory hotels).
The location could not be better! Close enough to be in easy walking and biking distance from all the happenings but far enough to get that good nights sleep you want to enjoy on your vacation. We slept fabulously!
The room was clean and had all we needed- the beach towels were a great addition!
We stayed in deluxe room number 12 in the Malony House - highly recommended! Big, top floor with a terrace outside. If you're seeking some privacy, do not get a pool side room.

The free guest parking is an important aspect- we didn't touch our car for the 4 days we spent in Key West and made our holiday even more relaxing and fun! There are 2 bike rentals just a block away. Key West is to be enjoyed by foot or bike for it to be authentic (my point of view).

The breakfeast was simple but fresh. As Italians we're not used to big breakfeasts... and we'd go into Town for a cappuccino after breakfeast anyway:)

The staff, with which we had little contact (basically limited to check in and out) was friendly and efficient! Check in and out max 5 min each.

We would definitly be back to the Key Lime Inn during our next stay in Key West (just too bad it's so far away from Europe...).

Excellent location, just 2 block from Duval St.
Parking is included in the rate, which is a plus, since parking is not easy in the Old Town. Basically we parked and did not move the car until the last day. You can visit the Old Town on foot.
Room 12 in the Old House is spacious, it is the old historic building and the verandah is great, you can get the Key West atmosphere. A rocking chair would be ideal!!! No elevator though.
Complimentary breakfast was good quality and abundant, so nice beside the pool.
Friendly staff. Cold water and tea available at the front desk.

Room Tip: Second floor with verandah!!!

Just back from a 4 night stay. We couldn't be more pleased with the location of the Key Lime. So convenient to Duval yet we heard no street noise. Room in general could use a paint job and maybe some updated fixtures.

Breakfast was sufficient although average. Coffee and water in the lobby all day was a nice touch. The pool was quiet and allowed for sufficient sun time.

For a hotel in Key West this was very good and we would stay again.

Room Tip: We were in room 11 which was a Deluxe King Room--bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were not...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The "cottages" are modern construction and lovely. We were in a superior queen which was very comfortable - roomy, clean and well appointed. It looked out on the breakfast area and the pool. A good Continental breakfast (included) was served each morning - fresh muffins, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, etc, all on the lovely deck by the pool.
The inn is on Truman St, a somewhat busy street, but there is a fence and shrubbery hiding the street so there is little noise. The location is perfect, a few blocks from Duval St. It avoids the craziness but is super easy to walk to restaurants, attractions, Mallory Square, etc.
We enjoyed the pool-well kept and relaxing atmosphere. We would love to go back here and get the same room-35.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights and we very happy with the location. It's an easy walk to the action on Duval, and set back from Truman so that traffic wasn't noisy. We loved the balcony which felt quite private. The breakfast at the pool was simple but adequate. Close to Hemmingway's House and the Southern Most point, it was great for jogging in the morning and enjoying the ocean in the afternoon. The room was spacious, wifi worked fine, and in room coffee maker was handy to have. The mini fridge and 1 block to the laundromat was a godsend for a longer stay. The place was quite romantic and had lots of international guests but no children during our visit.

Small but nice rooms, each much like a separate one bed room building. Good breakfast it was a nice choice of food. Very enjoyable pool. Good location. We would stay there again. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Room Tip: I would not want to be next to the pool and breakfast area.
